Solved! New (old) house, who dis?

Post image

This is in the utility room in our basement. The black pipe goes up into the rim joist and I can trace the wiring to the breaker box, but it’s labeled whirlpool blower.

Is there a patio/deck outside that has or had a jacuzzi? Often called whirlpool and would need a blower for the bubbles.

The previous had a hot tub so this makes sense. Thank you!

Probably an old external fan for the hottub that used to be at the house.

It isn't Whirlpool brand; it's the blower for the whirlpool.

Forces air up into the pool to make zillions of bubbles.
