Seeing that fly at me would EVACUATE my bowels.

Might as well lighten the load

The good news is it's big enough to realistically take a swing at!

Yeah but that moment of contact is gonna make me turn inside out with discomfort lol

Bro... Idk what they're called but in Vegas we have the beetles that look like OP's post but about 2 inches and all brown. Looked over in my small one person bathroom at work during a shift. And this fucker was 2feet from me with the wings up ready to fly. My face said scream, but my mouth made silence, as I flailed away with my pants around my ankles.... super fun times

Oh shit I used to live in Vegas and never saw one.

. Or one never wanted me to see it 👀

Yeah i dont want to kill this magnificent creature but i would very much like some sort of restraining order or preferably blood pact that it will stay at least 40 metres away from me and my dwellings at all times

3

u/Camry08 7h ago

Blood pact: it stays 40 m away at all times, but you must feed it daily and it will double in size each time you do

4

u/raptorgator0 5h ago

It already looks like it would feed on blood 😭😭

They're highly invasive and are a wood boring insect, kill it with fire.

I thought it was claymation or a toy and my brain broke in realization 😭

Crazy to think there used to be stuff like 100 times bigger and more scary, like the Arthropleura

So yeah, I would not want to run into that

u/DeezerWeezer 5h ago

Jesus I read erection instead of reaction

2

u/raptorgator0 5h ago

I'd start crying

It kinda reminds me of when I found a bigass dobsonfly in Arkansas. I moved her with a stick so everyone around me wouldn’t step on her. She was mad af at my stick lol but she was so pretty and scary.
