Solved! From the thrift store
They're all the same on the inside, metal with a plastic ring, I know they're pokeballs but what was inside them? Was it a puzzle? A pack of cards? A figure? Nothing? It's the right size for a pack of cards Edit: I literally said that I know they're pokeballs, I just wanted to know what was in them originally, I've played multiple Pokemon games and have over 100 cards and multiple other items from the franchise, but I wasn't entirely sure what was originally inside the pokeballs because there were multiple things that could be put inside Edit 2: please don't be mean to the illiterate people, they won't be able to read your comments /hj

Honestly, that's a pretty good deal.
Typically you've gotta buy ten of the same pokéballs to get one premier ball, and here you've bought two different ones and they threw one in anyway.

Yeah they are pokeball tins from the card game. My daughter has hundreds of these! Never know what to do with them!

These were card tins. I bought a few of them years ago. I believe they came with a trading card game pack and a coin.

The ones I had, had plastic/rubber pokemon figures in them. Someone I knew was making the figures into ornaments. I kept the pokeballs but not sure if I still have all of them. I see one one the shelf right now.
Are these ones big enough for cards?

There was a set of PokeBall advent calendars each with a pack inside them. That's what you have is the leftovers once the promo cards were removed
