Solved! Metal spring thing found in driveway
Found this in my driveway, and hoping it didn't come off of one of the cars. It's a strip of metal wound up into some sort of spring? I can't unroll it, and it doesn't appear to have any stamps or writing. Possible cars would be '97 miata or '16 subaru crosstrek. I assume off of a car due to where I found it, but it could also be from gardening equipment, or a mysterious third thing. Any ideas?

It's the center spring for a set of shears. Garden pruners or something of the sort.

Spring for feldspar pruning shears.
I guess it could be for other stuff too but that's the product I know it from.

I thoroughly enjoyed the circular indent on your finger from playing with it before taking the picture lol

It was made so you can put non-permanent circles on the pads of your fingers. Worked perfectly.
