Its a humble request to all Durga pujo organizers that please play the OG bengali songs of kishore kumar, lata Mangeshkar, asha Bhosale and many other bengali singers of old and new time.

Last 2 days i really missed those nostalgic bengali singers in almost 80-90% pandels..

Some even not playing anything..its all like a muted show.

You can keep the volume low or medium but atleast play it.. without those golden songs pujo vibe is missing.

Context of the Public Grievance

Adhiraj Ghosh submitted a public grievance petition highlighting the persistent civic infrastructure and sanitation-related issues affecting various parts of Rishra, Hooghly, West Bengal. The key concerns raised in the petition include the poor condition of roads, inadequate drainage systems, recurring waterlogging, and improper garbage disposal across the municipality.

The deteriorating condition of roads causes inconvenience to commuters and pedestrians, while inadequate drainage and waterlogging create difficulties for residents, particularly during periods of heavy rainfall. The accumulation and improper disposal of garbage also raise concerns regarding public hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and the overall living conditions of local residents.

In response to the grievance, the Office of the District Magistrate & Collector, Hooghly, through its Public Grievance Cell, forwarded the petition to the Executive Officer of Rishra Municipality, directing the authority to take immediate necessary action and submit an Action Taken Report (ATR) within two weeks.

The matter was marked as most urgent, reflecting the need for prompt administrative intervention to address these civic problems and improve the basic infrastructure, sanitation, and living conditions of the people of Rishra.

Need Recommendations for a Good Dermatologist in Kolkata for Recurrent, Treatment-Resistant Fungal Infection

I’ve been suffering from a stubborn fungal infection on my hands and thighs for the past 4–5 months. I’ve tried itraconazole 200 mg twice daily, terbinafine 250 mg twice daily, and topical luliconazole, but nothing has provided lasting relief. Itraconazole SB 130 worked remarkably well for a while, but the infection gradually returned.

Now, after restarting terbinafine 250 mg twice daily with miconazole, the patches are becoming even redder and itchier, and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve been receiving treatment at the School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata, but I’m exhausted from repeatedly switching antifungals without getting a lasting result.

Can someone please recommend a good private dermatologist in Kolkata who has experience treating stubborn or recurrent dermatophytosis?

I’d also like to hear from people who have gone through something similar, where itraconazole, terbinafine and luliconazole failed after months of treatment. Did you get your diagnosis confirmed through a fungal culture or other tests? What ultimately helped you recover?

I’m genuinely desperate for some guidance and would be grateful for any recommendations or personal experiences. I’m particularly looking for a doctor who will investigate why the infection keeps recurring rather than simply prescribe another antifungal.
