Suppliers to avoid
Naturally, we all have our planning trackers and lists of dream suppliers to get. Was just wondering if anyone has compiled a list of SUPPLIERS TO AVOID/WATCH OUT FOR based on nega experiences and objective reviews?
I’m trying to build my own, but it has been slow going. 🤔
From one super praning and cost-conscious B2B to another, let’s help each other out, kahit through DMs para no risk of cyberlibel. 🫣

₱10K Trial Makeup – MUA Will Remove It After 2 Hours? Is This Normal? LOL
Hi everyone!
My fiancée recently paid a downpayment to an MUA for a ₱10K trial makeup session.
We were planning to take a few simple prenup photos afterward. Nothing extravagant, just a few shots for remembrance.
However, the MUA suggested that we avail of their ₱30K prenup package instead, since it includes retouching and other services.
My fiancée explained that we don’t need those additional services. No retouching, no extended hours, and no assistance during the shoot. Once the trial makeup is done, that’s it. We’re on our own, and we’re perfectly fine with that.
But here’s the part that genuinely confused me. LOL.
The MUA said that if we only avail of the ₱10K trial makeup, they will remove the make up right after the session is done 😭(EDITED sorry the duration of the make up pala is 2 hrs jusko, mahina na ung pandinig ko sorry haha)
Wait, what? HAHAHA.
I understand that trial makeup and prenup makeup are different services, and I respect that MUAs have their own policies.
But is physically removing the makeup after completion really necessary? We’re not asking for anything beyond the trial session itself. We just want to take a few photos afterward while my fiancée still has her makeup on.
Is this actually standard practice among MUAs? Or is there something we’re missing here? 😂
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from professional MUAs!

Graduate Brides Supplier Lists and Reviews Would love honest feedback on a wedding supplier discovery site I built
Hi! I’ve been building Knotch, a Philippine wedding supplier discovery platform designed to help couples find suppliers based on style, budget, location, and overall fit, not just browse a long directory.
I recently changed the supplier discovery experience so visitors can swipe through suppliers and gradually discover what fits their preferences.
If you have a few minutes, I’d really appreciate honest feedback on the mobile experience:
https://knotch.studio/suppliers
A few things I’m especially curious about:
When the page opens, is it immediately clear what you can do?
Would you naturally swipe, tap a button, scroll, or leave?
Is there enough information on the first card to make you interested?
What would make you want to open a supplier’s full profile?
Does the experience feel useful for actual wedding planning, or more like a novelty?
Please feel free to be brutally honest, especially if anything feels confusing, slow, incomplete, or untrustworthy. I’m trying to understand the experience from a first-time visitor’s perspective.
Thank you!

Question: Principal Sponsors
Need help:
I sent out my invite to some of my guests already. I had a boss before (still in the same company with me now) that i considered to be my ninong for my wedding but ended not including him as sponsor (but I invited him as a guest na) because 1) nahiya ako - baka conflict of interest kasi within our company and 2) hesitant ako dun sa dapat na ipepair ko sa kanya.
Now I feel bad kasi he was formative sa character ko both career and personal tapos magkaibigan pa rin kami ngayon - i am now considering asking him kahit na nakita nya na wala sya sa principal sponsors list.
Should I do it?

Entourage/Guest Attire Linen for wedding guest?
Thoughts?
Pero kung inappropriate talaga ang linen, then i'll find a less pricey gown na chiffon or neoprene. Renting is not an option kasi kapresyo nya lang din naman pagbibili ka online. Thank you!

LF: Detachable lace sleeves
Hello! I’m looking for lace sleeves to pair with my rented wedding gown. I’m planning to add detachable lace sleeves, but I’m not sure where to buy them or where to have them made. I’d appreciate any recommendations. Thank you! 🤍

Do all wedding suppliers pay their TAX to the BIR? And do they have a business permit? Or is that included in the laundering?

Wedding Gown/Designer 2-way gowns or different gowns for ceremony & reception during photoshoots
Hi!
For those graduate brides and incoming brides na may 2-way gowns or have different gowns for ceremony and reception, how did you manage to make the two gowns have their time to shine for the video and photo on the day of the wedding? Should you specify this with your p&v team na magshoot ng pictures and videos with you and your partner with the different gowns? Or understood naman na yun? Did you also wear your reception gown during preparation time para macapture sya?
Excited to hear your thoughts and experiences! Thank you!

Pasalo
Hi, future brides and grooms! We're looking for couples na interested mag-pasalo ng wedding suppliers namin at discounted prices! Unfortunately, we decided to cancel our wedding on March 2027. Since marami na kaming na-book na suppliers at nakapagbayad na rin ng down payments, we're hoping na kahit portion lang ng nagastos namin ay mabawi. Currently based abroad kami, and we have a "full wedding coordinator" who's handling all our suppliers and wedding arrangements.
For most suppliers, you can choose your preferred wedding date, subject to their availability and approval. Hindi niyo kailangan sundin yung original wedding date namin! 🤍
🤍OTHER DETAILS:
✅ Open for reasonable negotiations!
✅ No need kunin lahat — pwede individual suppliers lang.
✅ Most suppliers may accommodate your preferred wedding date, depending on their availability.
✅ Proof of payments available for serious inquiries.
✅ We have a full wedding coordinator who can help facilitate communication and arrangements.
✅ All pasalo arrangements are subject to supplier approval.
PLEASE NOTE:
PM ME IF INTERESTED!
Just let me know which supplier you're interested in and your preferred wedding date para ma-check natin ang availability.
Thank you so much! 🤍

Engagement ring
Thank you!

Payments/Budget/Recap Wedding budget
Is P300,000 wedding budget still doable in Cavite? Estimated guests count is less than 100 and wedding is on 2028 pa naman. Max we can stretch the budget that we’re happy spending is up to P350,000. Anything more than that parang hindi na practical. Honest thoughts please.

Mom wants coords and sneakers for civil wedding
Or mga ganito (she sent me this)
Thank youuuu.
