This is bad, but I'm glad it wasn't her or the groom that said this.

It’s not sad lonely men lol probably at least a quarter of them have a wife/gf

You can still be sad and very lonely even when married

You can also consume pornography without being sad or pathetic.

Can someone translate this?

"tea" is drag slang that has worked it's way out to wider use. It comes from the phrase "spill the tea" meaning "share the gossip".

i mean, tea (OP personally found it funny/interesting/etc), but to bring them up at during a speech isn’t “giving” (isn’t it)

now it’s up to your personal knowledge to know what tea and giving means in this context, but it’s not that hard to understand lol

"Tea" means "I found it funny/interesting"? I would never have worked that out if you gave me a million guesses 😄

it doesn’t mean just that. it’s a broad term that’s entered the english lexicon, i encourage you to actually google it instead of relying on reddit comments

If I Google "tea" it just shows me a warm beverage.

and when you google “tea slang” because you knew from the context of this conversation that it’s obviously not a warm beverage, does it still shows you the same thing?

They did give money, they should be name as sponsor of the wedding, even if the bride is thrashy.
