Dress/Attire What if my dress doesn't fit the day of?

I'm getting married in about a week. My dress fit well at my last fitting two weeks ago, but it's strapless so its fitted pretty snuggly. I've been having this constant anxiety since then that its not going to fit on my actual wedding day and that it'll be too tight to zip.

Has anyone actually had this happen to them? How'd you fix it?

Strapless dresses are usually tailored to fit a little snug so they stay up. Place your hands on your actual waist, raise your shoulders, breath in and hold while they do up the zipper. If that doesn't do it, laying face down can help as it shifts everything a bit, just make sure you arrange your bust so they're in the right place as it can be hard to shimmy them after.

It will fit! Try it on 2 days before so you can tell yourself you’ll do an emergency alteration if needed. But you won’t!
