From The Tax Reaper

The Tax Reaper? What the hell could a story named The Tax Reaper be about? Is the devil avoiding the IRS? Running the IRS? Is it just about collecting taxes or smth? Too many questions
52
u/wstrfrg65 Jul 18 '26
It's like if you took an action webtoon comic but then made it about collecting taxes.
19
u/VanillaAdventurous74 Jul 18 '26
That does not answer any questions 😭

u/PikachuTrainz Jul 18 '26 edited Jul 18 '26
I’ll explain it better. So this guy once got in trouble for whistleblowing. Before or After he had acquired a skill to see numbers above heads. The numbers are how much tax people evade. He went under a handsome transformation around that time. Now the Plot is him being a civil servant who goes after rich entities dodging taxes.

Brother Knows Best
1
u/GIMJ9 Jul 19 '26
The art looks good. Do you recommend it?
1
u/ObscureOddball Jul 19 '26
In fanfiction terms I'd call it a little crack-fic-y, as the brother (who sets the whole plot in motion) is totally ridiculous, and he slowly infects everyone around him. But the FL/MC is great, and quite a bit more grounded, so it works. The story isn't without its plot holes, however it's really funny, I had a fun time reading it, and yes, the art's pretty good, so I'd definitely give it a shot if I were you!

Girl I honestly don’t remember 😭😭 but I promise I will look it up and tell you!!! JUST WAIT PLEASE 🙏

u/wosamohamats Jul 19 '26
I am sorry, but I have failed in my quest. I know not the name of Manhwa, a blot marring my name for eternity 🙏
1
u/vieneri Jul 19 '26
it's ok. thank you for trying 😭
2
u/wosamohamats Jul 19 '26
I can just tell you that my investigation lead me to deduce that it might be from Marriage of Convenience but I can’t be sure 😭

u/vieneri Jul 20 '26
it's ok. thank you for the recommendation. at least on my way to meet mom (that was also posted here) seems just as funny. have a good day c:

I had my favourite panel from Cursed Princess Club on my old phone but been struggling to find it! It's the princess with the lobster hands when she realised that she didn't need to spend all that time sewing fake hands to cover her claws. Just makes me chuckle 😃

I loved this one. Heard from it through the now dead game Hero Cantare (basically, official Webtoon gacha). Also discovered Hardcore leveling warrior thanks to that game.
Been thinking of starting Killer Pete.

I don’t have the panel but in romance 101 there’s an interstellar meme reference where the ML is looking at himself in the past in a space suit and banging on the wall telling himself not to do something
6
u/Aggravating_Look9207 Jul 20 '26
had to dig through my camera roll but YES one of my favorite references
2
u/hissymiker Jul 20 '26
Haha. Yes! It’s one of mine too. I cracked up when I saw it. I have it screenshotted on my tablet where I read webtoons but not on my phone where I use Reddit haha.

EDIT: My bad, I read the post wrong. I thought it says your fav memes in a webtoon. Talk about selective reading, man.
