I’ve been developing a comic since I was 11 years old and have just recently started finally drawing out panels. This has been what I would consider my passion project and as soon as I start putting it into motion everything came crashing down. It was irritating enough when Webtoon started occasionally putting an ad banner at the top of your screen that you had to wait to skip, but now they’re randomly flashing ads on your screen IN THE MIDDLE OF AN EPISODE. With Tapas shutting down and now this, my heart is broken. I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore and now I don’t even want to read the webcomics I love so dearly because an ad will just pop up and completely ruin my immersion. I no longer feel like I can share the passion I worked so hard on because companies are just so money hungry. I know there are other platforms out there but I don’t know anything about them and who knows how long they’re last before they too fall victim to this ai bullshit. I don’t really know what I want to come from posting this, I just needed to vent about this because I feel so hopeless. If anyone has like, a good website for sharing a dystopian webcomic, I’m definitely open to suggestions. Also totally open to other people who want to talk about all of this bullshit lol.

Please help me find the name of a web webtoon, I was staking chapters but I forgot the name and I can't find it. It was a zombie regression webtoon, it was about a protagonist that could go back to the past, he would be traveling between the past and the future, in the future the zombie apocalypse had hit and he lost people, but going to the past, he started saving them. It's all I remember but it looked so promising, thank you!

In 2020-2023 I read an indie comic on the webtoon app that I don't remember the name of. The main character was a young girl with white hair and a mostly red color palette. At the beginning of the story she met a ?beast-human? Mother and son in a forest who agree to let her travel with them. After a bit of walking wolves kill both of them right in front of her, but before she can get killed an adult man with a blue color palette saves her. They are talking for a bit when suddenly a red wave washes over them and suddenly they are in a new wasteland-ish area with a small community up ahead. In that community they meet a girl who later dies to a strange illness, but the second she dies the wave comes again. Now thr girl and the boy are in a pink cloud world where they meet a pink lady with cats. The boy and the lady seem to know eachother.

Throughout the story there are flashbacks of the girls past. She used to be an orphan in an orphanage where she had to stay in the attic. There was a beautiful girl who stayed at the orphanage who was being courted by the blue boy when he was a teenager. There is a monster in the main characters room who speaks to her. There is the wave thing and the beautiful girl's hair turns white and she becomes immune to a strange sickness that is going around, BUT she carries it voluntarily or involuntarily. ALSO she is not the only spider-girl they are rare but they are all around the world. But somehow in the present instead of the beautiful girl being the spider girl with white hair it is our main character who has the same powers somehow.

Thats all i remember, i really hope that someone knows what i am talking about, but its okay if you don't.
