FYI a VZ58 hits incredibly well inside this surplus G3 storage mount.

Made some adjustments and tweaked the furniture. Still have to shim the muzzle brake. Thoughts? How did I do?

Usually shoot steel cased stuff out of my 12", but local range is kinda iffy if they allow it or not, depending on who inspects it. Didn't want to deal with it so I just brought brass S&B today. Have a KNS adjustable piston that is tuned fine for steel, but had some weird cycling issues when unsuppressed.

Must have ripped the back off of this one, and the next round fed in, binding it all up.

Not sure if anyone needs one but aimsurplus has mounts for cheapest I've ever seen. Just wanted to share.

Tactically acquired a Gen 3 vz2008.

Was wondering if there're any tips tricks procedures, or upgrades that the Sa.58 vz2000 , vz2008 owners would be willing to share.

Intent is to go plinking at the range/hunting.

Just seeking advice/confirmation of something I noticed. I was cleaning my rifle the other day and noticed there was odd looking wear on the inside of the bolt carrier. I check my older original right hand side carrier and the marks are about the same. Is this normal? I have anywhere between 100-300 rounds through this. I never was good at keeping track of the rounds. Probably about equal round between each bolt carrier. I can feel a slight dip in the spot but not sure if it's just the coating/finishing wear off. This is a csa vz58. Only things I have changed are the handguard/grip/stock. Thanks in advance! Sorry if this is a stupid question.

This is my rifle, there are many like it, but this one is mine.
I have changed this rifle around so much. This is it in different hand guard and stock configurations. I have long since changed out that Yugo folding stock because I didn’t like how I could barely manipulate the trigger when it was folded. It looks good on the weapon itself but not very practical. I understand now why the paratrooper version has such a narrow collapsible stock.
I prefer the beach wood hand guards.

Shooting with a vz 58 rifle

Decided to whip out my VZ-58 Compact w/ the Dead Air Wolverine Suppressor. Was shooting out to 50 yards, wasn’t really testing its precision or anything, just really went to shoot some paper.

Installed a cncwarrior/Bonesteel folder. Irons are usable but get ready for cheek slap.

Traded the rsregulate/acro set up for a csa sidemount and aimpoint duty. Allows for more of a heads up style of shooting.
