News Spotify Posts- Please Read

Hello /r/Vocaloid
As a mod team, we discussed and decided that we will add an additional rule pertaining to some posts that have been considered low quality/AI relating to Spotify.
More specifically, posts where the sole function is questioning/informing users that a vocaloid song/vocaloid producer has been "hacked". Unfortunately, this is becoming a problem on music streaming websites, with the most well known being Spotify. Why is this being done? To collect fake royalties. This is done by committing metadata fraud to the song upload.
What can you do?
For starters, look up your favorite songs/producers on VocaDB and check the description for places where you can directly purchase their music or their official profile.
You can also report these fake song uploads in 3 different ways
Directly through Spotify help center on their website: https://support.spotify.com/us/reports/legal/
Via email infringement-claim@spotify.com
Postal address (for formal DMCA notices): Spotify USA Inc., Attn: Legal Department, Copyright Agent, 4 World Trade Center, 150 Greenwich Street, 62nd Floor, New York, NY 10007
What happens next?
Going forward, posts that resemble the following examples below will be removed and a comment will be posted to redirect to this thread.
"Wowaka has been hacked! *screenshot"
"Triple baka has been hacked *screenshot"
"Did Circus-P come back? This doesn't seem like his typical music? screenshot**
For additional reading on this topic, check out these news articles, this is unfortunately affecting every artist, not just Vocaloid producers.
https://www.npr.org/2025/10/27/nx-s1-5587852/spotify-ai-music-fakes
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2026/apr/11/ai-impersonating-musicians-spotify
Finally, not all Vocaloid artists will have their songs on streaming or potentially available for purchase on iTunes. Some producers may be region locked to Japan iTunes. Others might only release their music via physical CDs. Regardless, we must respect each producer's wishes for their music distribution- do not reupload other's music without their direct, explicit permission.

General Discussion Before MikuTeto these two were a majority of the fandom's OTP

And I'm like not gonna hope that this fandom forgets that these two were (and somewhat still are) a thing
Edit: I gotta say, I feel like I underestimated how different others' experiences with the VOCALOID fandom are with this post and I feel this post would come off like I was singling KAIMiku. I need to clarify I've seen a lot of people talk about these two were such a huge pairing back then which is what I was referring to here, while also kind of pushing other very popular ships like MikuLuka and Rinku to the side, just kinda thinking all of these ships including KAIMiku were about on the same level of relevancy but just taking off what I thought was the popular opinion from what I've seen. It's a little hard to explain, but I feel like in my opinion, it all stems to everyone's own personal experiences, and if you think some other ship was more prominent cause you might've seen it a lot more, then I think that's okay

Y'know what? Hear me out but I actually think they kinda swell together for a crossover ship, it's something I'd like to ship myself though not as much as MikuMEI!

Getting back into digital illustration after taking a few months off, and I really wanted to draw Kasane Teto since I've been a huge fan lately!
I've also been experimenting with slightly more suggestive poses—nothing overly explicit, but marked NSFW just to be on the safe side.
Swipe to check out the reworked version vs the first attempt (fixed the lineart and anatomy). Hope you like it!

I got this cute and very adorable Hatsune Miku Vocaloid Plushie at a Comic Con Convention years ago. I love how cute her design looks in this. Plus her face is very adorable looking and cute. I love Hatsune Miku so much. And I'll continue to support her, her music as well. And be a big fan of the Waifu forever. And I'll always support her.

Fan Art Looking for Critique (early draft)
•
Upvotes
Im working on my first vocaloid song and wanted to make a personal design for Koto for this song and I want to get some feedback on the design. Please dont just be like it looks like ass, its an early draft and not a finished design or drawing.
Things im keeping
Colour pallet
Trebleclef in hair
Aged up to college age
Everything else is up to be changed altered etc
If you have any ideas on how to incorporate more peaches into the design that would be great.
As a note I will not be using the vocaloid ai features just using it as a normal bank
Feel free to draw over or photobash any critique is welcome as long as you explain why it should be changed. Thank you and sorry for rambling!

Oml when I heard cultur I hated how high they made Miku. It’s so hard to find good miku and flower songs when people keep making them so high
