This is a viper not a challenger

Hey fellas, I’m looking to get some opinions from guys who have experienced ownership with either viper (doesn’t necessarily need to be an ACR). I’m at a crossroads since I love the iconic design of the 2nd gen viper, and analog vibe. I understand that the ACR is a huge jump in performance over the GTS, it’s just the cool factor for me mostly. Whatever I end up with, It would be mostly a weekend car to rip around, and I’d visit the track maybe once or twice a year. I haven’t really seen many ownership comparisons online, so this is why I’m asking. Thanks guys!

Looking at buying a viper preferably gen 4+ for preferably less than 100k (yes I know that’s kind of a narrow window) and I need tips. Like common problems to look for and how maybe what’s too high of mileage (like is 60k miles too high to justify the price). Any tips or suggestions are appreciated as this is my first higher level car. I currently daily a fk8 type Rand briefly owned a 2011 evora so this is a significant step up from anything I’ve driven.

Hello guys…
Mods: If this isn’t allowed, I apologize in advance.
I’m looking for a Gen V - and a Gen II GTS - Driver (15-75K miles)….
For the Gen V: If anyone has a lead, (I’d love an ACR but it doesn’t look like I’m gonna find one of those for under 1/2 million, (so if it’s got some EDIT scrapes EDIT that’s even better, but I’m not delusional just wanna get behind the wheel of one of these beasts)… I don’t own an auto museum, but live in the Midwest, so I’ll be driving it about 4-5 months a year at the track. I’m willing to pay fairly, but I’m not going to be charging admission so I’m looking for something I can drive. There may not be many so this is a Hail Mary.
I know so very few of these masterpieces were put on the road after 2015, but if you happen to have a lead on one, please let me know, the more miles the better.
For the Gen II GTS:
Also want to drive this thing often. So maybe under $100k, if you got one, let me know..
Thanks guys, I admire you!

Got the dreaded news that I blew a head gasket on my ‘93. Hoping for some advice. Since this is very much a “while we’re in there” job, I was wondering what else should be done.
As of now I’m looking at:
New rods
New lifters
New water pump
Obviously all related gaskets
Already did all new hoses
The devil on my shoulder keeps saying “CAM”, but that’s probably dumb.
Is there anything I’m missing?

I handmake these unique pieces of automotive marketing memorabilia. This hardwood plaque is made using the actual ad pages (not reprints) from 2003. Only 1 available. You can purchase here: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/4585093822/solid-wood-2003-dodge-viper-srt-10
GT3 or ACR? Not too knowledgeable on Vipers.

Looking at the spec super twin clutch p-trim for my build and wanted to ask if anyone with a flywheel trigger crank position sensor car can verify the SD08PT-2 has the triggers on the flywheel? Currently running fedanza flywheel and it works great but won’t accommodate the twin disc setup

Im so mesmerized by the sound. Let me know what you guys think!
There was also a TT Gen 2 there. You can see it a few cars down from the yellow Lambo. Owner said it was built by Hennessy back in the day and is getting some much-needed Motec updating soon.

Doing inner tie rods on my 99 Gts and the ones I got are too long, trw brand JAR1166. I’ve done some broad searching 96-02 and I get the same number. Dodge only sold them with the rack so I’m having a hard time crossing numbers over, has anybody had a number they have been able to use on their Gts?

It’s a bit of a project.. and I think they washed it in Hot water and shrunk it a bit. 🤪 Now I just have to find a chassis to put under it. I think I’m going to have it painted to match my full scale version.

I’m excited and terrified at the same time but it’s been 30 years coming.

Not sure how hard it is on other gens and I cant complain too much. Last battery was 9 years old, this one was 8 years old. Took a little over an hour from on the lift to rolling off. Including a trip to the store for the new battery.
