They really want to become the most hated company of all time no?

How so? Sony and Nintendo have their exclusives. Competition is great

The difference is taking already existing multiplatform franchises and making them exclusive to their failing console won’t give them any good will. Instead of creating new fun IP to be exclusives and drive sales they are taking away games from people

Yeah I don't agree with taking away anything. I'm not sure if that's the intent here or just an assumption. I assumed it's regarding unreleased first party games going forward.

Would certainly rank up there with Sony killing off physical discs.

I stopped being able to find physical games for my Xbox long before sonys announcement, at least in my area the Xbox section doesn't even really exist outside of a few controllers and redemption cards. I'd say they killed it off they just didn't announce it

Sony is a featherweight compared to Microsoft and all their bullshit with Windows as well.

Recency bias. Sony is possibly the best behaved company of the 3 if you total up the shit Nintendo has pulled, and the constant fuckups of XB.

People are just mad a Sony for telling them the truth lol. They even gave a heads up. Microsoft will tell you one thing and the next day it’s completely different.

“I’m mad Sony said I didn’t own my games”

These people never read a single thing about software licensing. Then get mad when Sony tells them what it’s said for decades at this point lol.

Also with how painfully obvious the inevitable swap to digital has been since the PS3 era when online storefronts and digital games became truly viable. PC got rid of discs ages ago and there wasn't some huge issue, you didn't have screeching idiots saying PC gaming was dead. lol

I’m probably equally irritated with Sony shifting their resources to live service relative to anything Microsoft did.
