News / Trailers / Articles Missouri gamers watch out

Post image

I seen this post from Missouri's attorney general. I have no clue what their endgame is. I agree children need to be safe but I feel this is more in the parents responsibility at some point also. Stop putting your children unwatched in front of a video game so you can do whatever. Also maybe setup and monitor the parental controls also.

Theyre using games to force IDs for all Americans, so Palantir can track us and they can disrupt any attempts to fight against the oligarchy.

Oh god even America is doing it now. Is there anywhere out there that isn't trying to create a huge survillance state

PC and piracy is basically the future. After all between the dum law trying to age everything. Pules the console going sky up for price. PC with Linux or Windows 10 with a good VPN. Never be bothered again.

Now!? They were ahead of the UK at one point in identity verification proposals and then the UK decided to speed run Australia 2.0

Why tf aren't parents using the parental controls they have access to on the Xbox to keep their kids from interacting with strangers?

Protect the kids!

Okay let's address the firearm problem.

Good point, let’s tie ID to internet access, make people pass a background check before they can use it.

You're going to upset the idiots who don't see the connection.

How bout leave my video games and my guns alone?

Do you think predators are using guns to get kids over Xbox live? What kind of dumb comparison are you making rn.

My point is they don't care about protecting kids they are just pushing an agenda. What do you think the number one cause of death for children and adolescents (ages 1 to 19) in the United States is?

If you group them all together maybe, teens die from firearms mostly, but children die far more commonly from motor vehicle crashes and drowning, by that logic should we ban swimming pools and public beaches? or how about putting more restrictions on cars to prevent manmade errors that causes crashes?

I'm not saying ban firearms, I'm not sure where you're getting that. I'm saying the bill is disingenuous pushing an agenda because they do not care about protecting kids.

You need a car to function in American society, you do not NEED a gun. It's not comparable whatsoever.

how should a lone woman defend herself against a grown man?

With a car, obviously.

How about teach the little man how to be respectfull to women before he gets a grown man?

Good old whataboutism. Lack of proper parenting causes an order of magnitude more problems than firearms ever will.

Maybe in a subreddit about firearms, but i support your right to feel the way you want about it.

My comment is more to point out the hypocrisy of this bill trying to protect kids when we all know they don't care

I totally agree. That's why I am curious what bs they are going to try to pull at the end of said 30 days

The goal here is to take away all parental rights and further infantized adults because the mechanisms to protect these children are already in place, the parents.

What posts complaining about this stuff seems to never acknowledge.

Is that we all got round parental controls as children. Fairly easily. So no, it isn't just as easy as saying 'parents should use parental controls'.

Personally this kind of stuff doesn't bother me at all. I'm all for increasing security and surveillance online. People get away with far too much shit.

The government is more dangerous than the strangers on the internet. You cannot trust them with that power

Yep but watching people on the internet is hardly dangerous
