49 years old. Happily married. Two teenage kids. And I consider myself a good, involved dad. There has never been a point where ive stopped gaming. (Always single player, offline)

I just watch less and less TV, and dont have other hobbies.

Yeah, I am a married woman with one kid but my husband and I both game. My husband has a game night with his brother every Wednesday (who also has two kids. We're also both in multiple dnd games that meet regularly.

It's totally possible to keep up hobbies once you have kids. Hell, my husband is currently teaching our daughter, who is six, how to play WoW.

My guess is that the people who stop, or feel like they have to stop, either have jobs that absolutely control their lives more than the average person, or have extensive social lives that keep them busy with other stuff. Even when my kids were babies, Id stay up for a couple of hours after they went to bed to do my thing.

Same. I played after my son went to bed when he was little (7pm) and now that he’s 12 he couldnt care less what I’m doing 90% of the time, he’s probably gaming with his friends anyways

Mine are 15 and 12 and all four of us are often gaming in our own separate corners of the house. Ps5, ps4, switch 2 and pc.

Also in my 40s with 2 kids. I game and play guitar akmost every day. I don't get to do multiplayer much anymore because I don't like the possibility of leaving people hanging if im needed elsewhere, but I've found that multiplayer games just aren't as good as they used to be.
