I have 9-5 job and have to wake up at 5:30 everyday.
The main gripe I have is the commute time, probably consumed like 3-4 hours of my day (Depends on the traffic that day) just to commute between going to work and go back home.
Living cost near my office is expensive as hell, so it's a big no for my current income, which is why I ended up renting an apartment quite far from where I work.
Shit like this that really tires me out honestly, but gotta stay strong I guess..
I hear you, it's a grind and commuting is just lost/ dead time that could be used for something more productive. Are you able to WFH if that were an option or do you need to be in every day?
I bought a 2bd unit not far from where I work, can easily commute by bicycle or even walk it if need be, but public transport is fine. Worked from home for a while and I even saved enough to buy a bigger home, while maintaining my unit and renting it out in the meanwhile.
But since I've returned to the office, the commute has been hectic... I've almost considered moving back into my unit.
