Been working on a new pack for my Keep on Creating shop and thought you might enjoy these.
The idea was pretty simple: take a lightning bolt and build it out of bones. That turned into 20 different designs, with chunky joints, sharp angles and a bit of that old tattoo flash feel.
They’re vectors, so you can change the colours, scale them up or combine them with your own artwork.

What’s the consensus this far on vibe coded apps?
Personally I welcome the disruption.

I made a simple sketch and vector app to make it easy to get started on an idea. Sketch and Vector on my app the export SVG as I moved over to Vector Ink Studio for the finishing touches.

Hey everyone! I just released a beginner-friendly tutorial showing the full vectorization process in Affinity Designer, from a blank document to the finished vector.
Heads-up: the narration is in Brazilian Portuguese, but the workflow is easy to follow visually. If you’re a Portuguese speaker or just want to see a different approach, hope it helps!

I'm a fan of procreate's ease of use and the way for drawing, compared to the way vector art is usually made - with the pen tool and bezier curves and spending a lot more time per line.
I wanted to know if there's a tool where I can draw vector art more easily? I really like the Figma draw features but they're not on iPad :(( I've already tried out Linearity and Affinity

Hi everyone! 😊
I’ve designed my own business cards, but unfortunately, some of the images become blurry when I enlarge them. I’m looking for someone who could help me properly vectorize them so I can print them in high quality without losing sharpness.
I’d like to keep the original design, colors, illustrations, and text as close to the original as possible.
I already have the files in SVG format, but some of the illustrations seem to still be raster images.
If anyone could help me with this, or recommend a good way to do it, I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance for your help! 🙏

I've been developing Arttista, an indie 2D vector drawing and animation software, and I wanted to share a little piece of its history: the evolution of its splash screens, from version 1.0 to 1.9.
Over the years, I quietly added little elements inspired by illustrators, animators, and developers to the opening screens. They were small easter eggs, hidden in plain sight, as little nods to the creative minds who inspire me.
But there was another idea behind all this.
For version 2.0, I wanted to tell a different story through the splash screen: a butterfly in front of a rainbow, symbolizing transformation. My original plan was to start with caterpillars and gradually show them growing and eventually turning into butterflies across future versions.
Then reality caught up with me.
I had to make a choice: spend time drawing all those detailed splash screens, or spend that time programming the software itself. And if I didn't focus on the code, Arttista wouldn't get released.
So the butterfly stayed.
Now, in version 2.7, it's still the same splash screen introduced in 2.0. Not quite the evolving sequence I had imagined, but a little reminder of the ideas I had along the way — and of the compromises that come with building an indie project.
Sometimes, you have to stop drawing and get back to coding so that other people can draw, too
