Discussion Forge of Potential update

So, does that mean no more save scumming?

Guess I won't be interacting with it anymore until they adjust the success rate and/or refund all mats on failure.

Stop moving the goalposts. The devs are not the fastest, but their game is art and we have to respect that if there are some things the artist is stubborn about when they are addressing all these other complaints. It ain't bugs--these are stylistic choices. For ex, I think crafting from chests should be in the game, but obviously they don't and it's part of the experience which overall is still the GOAT, even if some elements are becoming outdated at this point.

While I agree with you for the most part, that doesn't mean they are immune from criticism.

Sure, you can argue that not including crafting from boxes or dedicated equipment slots is a "stylistic choice" on the part of the devs, but what POSSIBLE reason could there be for not adding search/favorite features to crafting menus, the same features they added to the hammer build menu? How did they manage to overlook not being able to mount the final boss's trophy?

I completely agree with that criticism, among others. They aren't immune. But I was responding to a hysterical statement that essentially "the devs have never addressed anything the fans want" (which is just objectively false), and I'm sick of gamers being the most whiny little victims in the planet. It's exhausting. We have enough of it in politics. Edit: syntax

You know what? You're absolutely right. That's a fair point.

It's nice when you can both be right

I wish I could upvote this so many times. So many people in this community with strong opinions and expecting things to change because they said so. Mods are available if you want a different experience.

Hey now, I have strong opinions (both positive and negative), but I don't expect much to change. Nothing wrong with having and expressing opinions and feedback.

Nothing wrong at all with expressing it. I just see so many comments like "devs haven't changed the thing I don't like, so they are useless" when this is easily the best early access purchase I've probably ever made.
