I was playing vail (on quest 2) with a friend when a kid walks up to me and crashes my game. My friend said he did it with a hat, and now every time I play it runs for a minute or two before closing or just crashing. Does anyone know how to fix this.

(Edit) after I cleared the cash, uninstalled and reinstalled, then cleared the cash again it seems to have fixed or at the very least vastly lessened the crash chance.

(Edit 2) the amount of times the game itself crashes seems to be negligible however, now my quest randomly resets itself mid game. Im not shore if this is just a coincidence or not but I have so far given up.

(Edit 3) factory resetting doesn't seam to have done much, if anything. I fear im Journaling my quests last moments without even knowing it.

I am sorry that I continuously keep asking, but I’m genuinely curious what has happened with my support ticket and the bump email and all that this all started for me losing 2000 after going into train grounds not even training Vail combat no hard feelings towards you guys, but should I cut my losses or if I’m being done about this

Vail starts to get extremely laggy in Social hub when ever there’s the call, browser, or any app at all open while it’s open. I’m playing on a standalone Quest 3 and ever since the space map has been added the game has been really laggy even down to 1 FPS! Is this a common bug or my headset. Edit1: so turns out I found out why VAIL is extremely laggy, it’s on my other games too (nightclub simulator, itr, etc) and it’s the navigated taking up 3 gigs of ram!

Vail vr standalone quest 3s graphics horrible. The entire game is pixelated and even my vr controllers get pixelated too, It happens as soon as I open the app???

I know 100% that this will do nothing but I’m just throwing out there. There’s a couple guns you could add. That would be really nice such as the RPK maybe some kind of rocket launcher that uses the same fire and explosion effects as the boss currently has right now the Hydra, maybe has the explosion radius of four grenades probably a later project for sure and hear me out maybe some kind of crazy gun now I know this definitely wouldn’t happen but hear me out a mini gun. It’s like a below 1% chance to find it in an extraction match.

sorry if I’m kind of flooding this place I went ahead and I just kind of smooth everything out and got rid of my biggest problems. It looks better now.

Is my vail drawing good it took 6h altogether

I've got myself a protube stock gun and it's a quality stock gun but I do find myself a lot slower than with out. Has anybody got any tips for using stock guns or is it just about practice?

I keep having this bug where I get basically a double jump when using the jump pads. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. I don't think its just me either, I've seen people have it so bad they can jump to the ledge of one of the maps. Would really appreciate if any of you have any fixes or recommendations. I already put this in the discord as well

So in the last few major updates we’ve got: Gambling for gel, shoving loot boxes in our face after each match of combat and now we’re expected to grind out extraction to get a loot box so that we can spend dollars to buy more keys for gel to open it?
There’s no way to grind more gel besides the daily income which is only 25… so you’re telling me that I have spend 40 DAYS of claims to get 1k just to open 1 loot crate that I have to earn in extraction? Ouch.
There’s zero published drop rates for the crates or even possibilities of drops. I get that the game is mostly f2p and you need revenue but this is getting ridiculous.
I think my time of supporting this game after so many years is finally coming to an end. 🫡🪦

I haven’t played the game in a few months, i just booted it up on my quest 3s, and everything thats not like 5 feet in front of me is pixelated, its making it impossible for me to see/hit enemys at rangs. it wasn’t like this the last time i played. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it didnt help, does anyone know a fix? Or did they just downgrade graphics?

Can I merge my two accounts from steam and meta account. I wasn’t able to do it before so I want to know can I still merge them or is it to late?

My NB25 Extraction skill point just says 3/3 and won't flip over to the "Claim" button. It expires tonight if I don't claim it. Anyone know a workaround? I'm terrible at Extraction. I was pretty lucky to finish this one, especially since my gear didn't load in a single time this week.

Tropical, my gel is gone. I purchased $40 worth actually closer to 45 at the end of my opening where I opened a ton of crates I had 3500 gel left if I opened an elite supply crate which I did I would still have 2000 left seeing as it’s only 1500. I proceed to open it which means I still would’ve had money left then I went into combat and during a match I received The  resa supply crate which cost 1000 I attempted to put my key into it and it brought up the purchase prompt. 2000 of my gel was entirely deleted. Why is this a glitch? I’ve closed the game and restarted it.  And nothing same with my whole headset who can I send a video of it too because I have record of me having that amount then the next video shows inside of combat reacting to having no gel

First time playing VAIL Ranked… and I immediately run into creators 💀
I had never played a 5v5 ranked match before, so I had absolutely no idea what to expect.
Needless to say, my first ranked game went a little differently than planned 😂

I love this game. Been playing since PC beta. Then bought the quest version once it came out years later, bought another copy for my wife and a third for a friend. This game has always had the best gun play and i was excited to watch it develop. Ive played other games but always come back to vail for a stint of counterstrike style vr.

In recent years, when i come back, there is some new sleazy and sloppy spproach to extract money from the playerbase. Invest in AEX labs? I even checked it out, but the offering was so shit, you would have to be completely stupid to not see through the "investment opprotunity", which could have just been similar to how other companies do this, but instead it was unfavorable and full of completely stupid promises and even a graph showing vrs exponential growth and value (which wasnt true now, or then). Misleading potential investors is a weird strategy for sure, and thats ehen your targeting adults.

Now, to in game transactions. Everything is designed to put you infront of a "Buy this" option screen. Want to join a game? Heres an add to access the menu! Skins and guns locked behind purchase was annoying bc you literally get almost no skins just playing the game, but w.e

Im not really into skins and i get that is a way to generate revenue. But its just SO constant.

Then, extraction came along, and "the alliance". These are just mask off pay to play. You just cant access extraction mode without money to drop on dumb unlocks. Its just not feasible, and the advantages given to players who pay extra is so huge (unlock literally everything day 1 with enough money!). So that mode, which really took a while to come online, is totally a dead end for most people, and will have ashort lifespan. While it exists im sure there will some revenue, but at what cost?

Now, there are crates. Every match you get a crate! But wait! You need a key! Buy the key to open the crate with money! Hooray, so fun.

The audacity of offering mining, which presents the false notion that this game isnt pay to win, you can get everything by mining!.. Is totally stupid. Its slow, boring as hell, nothing to do with the theme of the game snd is so half assed it is hard to believe its not a joke. I rememebr a kid trying to mine his way to buy a real copy, and he was just working full days on it rather than just going outside to do actual work like lawn mowing. So stupid.

Anyway, its to the point that if you have fancy skins and open crates or w.e., i know you are just a sucker for the hundreds of money extraction methods deployed by AEXlab simultaneously.

I love this game when it lets you. But having advert after advert after money extraction method deployed everytime. I log in is so disappointing. You guys had a good game at the right time, but devoted all your creativity, budget, and aspirations to short term, contentless microtransactions that actually destroyed certain aspects of the game.

I am sure the only person who may read this works at AEX, and I truly hope you take this to heart. Idk what you can do at this point tbh, but if you scratch your head and wonder why it all went up in flames, i just hope this post helps you see the light for your next endeavor.

With a balance of respect and disappointment, i sincerely hope AEXLabs the best in the coming years as they develop their approach.

this new extraction update is complete BS you’re telling me on top of just making the smarter. They now all come to the one robot who saw someone me wrong. I wanted this update, but it would be more fair if it wasn’t for the fact, they all ganged up on you instantaneously and also your max health didn’t get lowered 20% each time you die no matter if it’s to a player or to a robot. Stupid. fking clankers

So we all know that crate keys are NOT free only the first is right and you have to pay well here is a idea. in order to get a key you must do 5 quests (its daily) and than you get a key. BUT if you realllly want to make it harder make the quests a bit harder (still able to do but harder than average) and make it where you get a RANDOM key for a RANDOM box so if you dont have that box yet wellll wait ._. ...but PLEASE it will at least allow it to not be a pay for this only because currently the only way is to buy it or get gel by logging in for 30+ days which for one box i feel aint worth it. u/Quick-Mushroom716

Apparently my game updated on the 27th and I haven't got a chance to play till today. But now it just loads me in but I cant move and there's no sound. If I try to teleport then it kicks me off the game. What can I do to fix this?
