ANNOUNCEMENT MATCHDAY EXPERIENCE

Some General Information for Matchdays

_________________________________

Tickets:

Tickets are available between 7 to 12 days before a specific match.

The official date and time of the match is confirmed by the Lega Serie A. Make sure that the official time is out before planning your trip (You can see it in the calendar whether it has a date and time or says TBD.

They are available to be purchased online, or in-person.

YOU MUST BRING ID - tickets are nominative, and they always check that the name matches the ticket.

Pack light, and be ready to wear warm clothes. The stadium is covered on all sides, but the Udine climate can be predicted to be wet and cold especially in the winter months. And there are many restrictions on what you can or cannot bring inside.

You cannot purchase a ticket in the Curva Nord if you do not have the "Tessera del Tifoso".
For most games, you cannot purchase a ticket in the away sector for the same reason.

For neutrals, we recommend the Distinti sector (in green on the map), as it is the best place to have a good atmosphere and matchday experience, without being in the Curva Nord.

Doors open around 2h30-3 hours before kick-off. Sometimes there are some pre-match events such as some musicians, however, most of the fanbase enters the stands within the last 30 minutes before kick-off.

Food and Drinks:

Food and drinks are available inside. Beer is sold inside the stadium, and you are allowed to drink it whilst watching the game. There are also mobile beer, wine and snacks vendors that will sell you food and drinks at your seats, although not in every sector.

There are food and drink options in food trucks before and after the game by the entrance of the Curva Nord (outside of the stadium). Local fans tend to prefer these options.

There is also the "Terzo Tempo" organised in the parking lot by the Associazione Udinese Club (look for a white van and flags). You can have some food and drinks for very affordable prices, whilst chatting to local fans.

Transport:

Car:
Best option, with ample parking around the stadium. Avoid parking in the Curva Nord side if you're an away fan. Expect to be stuck in traffic for a bit when leaving the stadium.

Buses:
You can get off at UDINE piazza Rizzi 3 (Line 2), UDINE via Mainerio (Stadio Friuli Park Nord dir. Fiera) (Line 9 and Line F) and UDINE via Lombardia (fronte via Cremona 6) (Line 2 and Line H2).

You can check the times here. They don't usually run very late.
It is not recommended to take the bus as an away fan.

Taxi:
Call (+39) 0432 505 858 - price is around 15 to 20 euros from the city centre (depending on time and demand).

Udinese Merchandising

For official merchandising, you can find a wide selection of articles in these following places:

Macron Sports Hub Udine
In the corner by the Curva Nord and Distinti sectors. Open on matchdays before and after the match, but only accessible if you have a ticket to either Curva Nord or Distinti.

It is also open on non-matchdays, and you can catch a glimpse of inside the stadium too.

Macron Store Udine - City Centre
As the name implies, store in the city centre of Udine, but they don't have as many accessories as the store in the stadium.

Macron Online Store
Online store, ships to many places around Europe and the world.

Vendors outside the stadium
Not official merchandising, but cheaper alternatives are also found on matchdays by the food trucks.

Sightseeing in Udine:

(More on [r/Udine](r/Udine))

To see:

To eat / drink:

Need to try: Frico, Cjarsons, Brovada e Muset, San Daniele Ham, Gubana, Tiramisù, local wine, and the Birra Moretti (which was founded in Udine).

Outside Udine:

Other Sports:

  • APU Udine (Basketball - Serie A1)
  • UEB Cividale (Basketball - Serie A2)
  • CDA Talmassons (Women's Volleyball - Serie A1)
    • For big matches, they play in the Palasport Primo Carnera (where APU Udine plays, by Stadio Friuli)

_________________________________

Away fans:

Udinese fans are generally calm, and we won't necessarily mind a shirt from another team, except when playing a rival (this list is not extensive, there are definitely a few more rivals).

You can wear the shirt of your supporting team in the Curva Sud and the Distinti sectors generally without issue. However we ask that you remain respectful.
Note: Although the Distinti is technically counted as one sector, it is recommended not to wear opposing team colours by the side of the Curva Nord.

Enjoy the game, and Ale Udin!

Udinese-Roma

Hello!
I would like to ask when ticket sales are expected to start for the match against As roma on October 31. Also, will tickets be available to purchase through TicketOne?
Sorry for all the questions, but this will be my first time attending a match, so I’m not very familiar with the ticket-buying process.
Thank you in advance for your help and answers!

Hello,

Currently working with a renowned football podcast page, for a special episode about Udinese to come out on the 130th anniversary date.

Looking for a potential guest to appear - to discuss topics such as:

  1. History of Udinese
  2. History of the Friulan emmigration
  3. Supporting Udinese abroad coming from a Friulan family

The podcast will be in ENGLISH and each episode is around 1 hour long. A decent level of speaking and understanding is required.

Feel free to message me if you're interested and I can tell you more about it!

Palma (fanta)

Ragazzi volevo fare un abbinamento in difesa al fantacalcio e mi serve un difensore centrale dell'Udinese. Ho preso Palma come pupillo a 1, mentre Abankwah è rimasto svincolato. Secondo voi quando tornerà dall'infortunio (penso dopo la sosta) si prenderà il posto da titolare, oppure soffrirà tanto la concorrenza di Ebosse, Kabasele, Bertola ecc. e mi conviene prendere Abankwah?

Question Di Natale shirt

Hi everyone,
First of all, I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I saw a similar post while searching and wanted to give it a try.
I have a friend who is a huge fan of Antonio Di Natale, and his birthday recently passed. He always shows us clips of Di Natale when he played for Udinese, and he also loves the club. So I thought a Di Natale shirt would be a meaningful gift for him.
I’ve been searching for one for about a week, but I haven’t been able to find anything. The country I live in doesn’t allow shipping from other countries, but I found someone from France who could bring it to us if necessary.
How can I find an original Di Natale shirt? I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions.
Sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask, and I wish Udinese all the best for this season
