Im leaning very much towards knights circle and was wondering which phase is the best or more preferable to live in. If anyone that is living there or has lived there before could give me advice i would appreciate it

If I dont get to manage professor, can I apply centrally and actually have a shot at central funding? I mean how realistic it is to get funding without managing professors?

I have a Bachelors degree in EE, with a cgpa- 3.8+, and I have three conf papers

I cannot believe UCF charges $15 for a transcript. That is so ridiculous. Every other school I've gone too has been $3-$8.

Question for all my poli sci/pre law majors

Who are some profs who are usually down to write a letter of recommendation?

Can I just walk through there to get to a room in the Ginsburg Center if I have a meeting in there? It’s always awkward when I walk in cuz they always have like 3 ppl at each desk. Am I supposed to sign in at the front desk or can I just walk to the room? 😭

I'm sorry in advanced if this makes me sound lame (cause I am).

I'm a commute student, and one of the cons of being one is that I miss out a LOT on campus life and culture. I'm trying to find fun events and activities to attend. One of my assignments in Strat for Success in College is to take a picture of yourself at an event. I take the bus from the Health Science campus in Lake Nona and it's one of the only ways I can get to campus. I'm on campus from Mon-Thur from about 9am-3pm. What are some of the events I can do?

Hi everyone!

I applied for my MA in UCF’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and I got an email for their interview process. I read a couple of other threads on the same topic but they were 1-2 years ago. Looking for more recent experiences and advice.

One thing I read was that they no longer do the GRE but rely more heavily on your related experience. I don’t have much experience in counseling. I just shadowed a doctor during their ketamine clinic sessions with their clients for about a month and recently signed up for a crisis hotline but the interview is in a week.

I feel like this is going to really affect my chances of getting in and I’m extremely nervous.

Any and advice on the interview, my experience or to gain more experience would be really appreciated. I’ve asked around to shadow other sessions with therapists and have had no luck. Any other options or areas that I could look would be much appreciated!

Hey everyone, I am a prospective student who applied to UCF yesterday (🥳), and I was sent an email to complete my checklist. When I went to fill out the SPARK form, it had my high school one listed there three times. This is the first time that I have even opened this form, to my knowledge. Does anyone know what I should do to remove them, or do I just keep them there? I am also gonna email the SPARK help email, but the automated response said I should expect up to four weeks to hear back.

Keep getting told they are having trouble verifying my account, I can put in my username and password just fine it is the verification that is being difficult.

Student Union currently closed. More information to come when UCF provides more

Edit: No official gas leak confirmation and the SU is now open. The timer continues

I am currently in the math launch program and I am moving onto calc I in the spring. The problem is that math launch forced me to take only 11 credits this semester so moving onto the spring do I have to make up for the lost credit and add another class to reach 24 credits for bright futures?

I’m thinking about adding a minor in Sports Business and my major is Entertainment Management. I’m not quite sure what I wanna do, but right now I have part time jobs in both the live entertainment and sports industries. Has anyone done this minor? Honestly I’m thinking it might be better to do a masters but idk

Is it possible that you fail Senior Design 1/ Senior Design 2 or is it impossible? Is Summer Doable for Senior Design 1?

Hello Ucf! My name is Jordan and I lost my spider-man wallet recently today possibly in the College of Sciences Building Room 0101 around 5-6:30 ish I could have dropped it around the room somewhere. Please if anyone sees a spider-man wallet with cards and a ucf id please let me know!

Hey does anyone know why my position in class waitlists keep going up? At this point I’m not going to get into these classes because I keep getting pushed back, why is this happening??

Found!

Hoping someone can help! 🙏🏼

My son lost his car key fob with his dorm room key attached to the keychain.

He has already contacted Lost & Found, UCF PD, searched around Classroom Building 2, Libra, Lake Claire, and checked with the Student Union, but no luck so far.

Does anyone have any other suggestions on where he should look or who else he should contact?

We would really appreciate any help or suggestions! Thank you! 💛🖤

I graduated from UCF last year and I miss it. I’m a multi-generation alumni so I’m biased.

I did my BS in Psychology at UCF, and now I’m at USF for my masters. I was offered a 100k+ salary at 24yo after I finish. it wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t go to ucf and meet the people I did, that got me interested in the field. UCF is great, the size, the professors, all of it. The campus here is beautiful too, and it’s laid out very well.

Between scholarships, I was able to graduate with my BS with zero debt, and I’ll likely be able to finish my masters with no debt either. I’m excited to see where the school goes in the next 10,20,30+ years.

Take advantage of all the opportunities you can, work very hard, and you will be successful. Ignore the naysayers. People who whine are people who’re lazy.

For a lot of people who are about to graduate, you might miss it the same way I do right now. I might come back to UCF for my MBA as well.

Going to ucf was one of the best choices I’ve ever made!

Go Knights :)

any fun electives yall recommend taking? my spring schedule is brutal and i want some more fun/interesting classes to balance it out + meet the credits. i'm literally open to anything and everything

Hello. I have recently transferred to UCF for political science. I wanted to ask for advice on which professors on that field you’ve taken that you’ve either liked, not liked or both. I am an online student so not all options are available to me, but the ones that are, most of the professors also teach in person.

Some of the professors that are available include: Jensen, Jewett, Marien, Myunghee, Conroy, Gleiber and Smallpage. Tell me your opinion on any of those if you’ve taken them please. Thank you guys!

I’m a freshman and I’m not really sure how the waitlist system works. I’m first in line and I briefly saw a page talking about putting in my phone number and something about swapping but in the heat of the moment I didn’t read it fully. So how does it work. I’m enrolled in another English class because the one I wanted got waitlisted. Does it automatically swap the two or do I have to manually do it? How much time would I have to swap it? How do I manually swap it 😓😓

The English class I’m enrolled in is in person and the one I’m waitlisted in is online

I left my AirPods case on the 3rd floor somewhere yesterday. They’re just the regular white case. Please lmk if you saw them thank you!

I got a job offer at Aramark UCF over the summer but because I’m an international student I had to get my papers processed which took a while. Eventually when they were ready the manager basically just ghosted me. I’ve emailed him multiple times and show up in person but he’s never there. I managed to see him once and he just told me to have over my documents and now they’ve had my SSN for weeks but I still haven’t heard ANYTHING about my onboarding process???
