Its something special. When it's a mom and pop shop you want to do your best to deliver their food. I do my best because its a lot of hard work running a food business. Just know, if I get a chance to deliver your food I always go way above and beyond to give the customer im delivering to the best experience possible.

I’m an Uber Eats driver in Miami, Florida, and I’m having a serious issue with my account. I’m hoping someone here has experienced the same problem and can help me find a solution.
Since the morning of Monday, October 5, I started my usual full-time workday, just like I do every day. However, I was surprised to find that I was receiving almost exclusively Trip Radar requests instead of regular exclusive orders. When I do receive exclusive orders, most of them are very low-paying and not worth accepting.
I’m now going into my second week dealing with this problem, and it’s seriously affecting my ability to meet my daily earnings goals.
I’ve contacted Uber Support several times, but they keep telling me that everything looks fine with my account. Unfortunately, the problem hasn’t been resolved.
Has anyone in Miami or anywhere else experienced this issue? Has anyone found a way to fix it? Could there be something wrong with my account, or could this be a system issue?
Please help me! I’m a full-time driver, and this situation is making it very difficult to earn a living. I’d sincerely appreciate any advice, suggestions, or solutions from drivers who have experienced the same problem.

Got this request today from a local hardware store. Was very confused when the navigation kept telling me to go back to a spot. The spot they (uber) wanted me to pick up from is in photos below. The store has tried telling Uber, but it's still happening. Luckily I didn't need navigation to tell me how to get there lol.

I came to this forum because I wanted other people’s opinions or perspectives on this encounter. For context, I live in a three story apartment building with a gate. I am a woman in my twenties who lives alone. This was the first time I’ve ever encountered something like this and I’ve used Uber for a long time.

Here is the story: I let this guy in through the gate (the gate can be unlocked through a code box). He entered and knocked on the door. I didn’t add any instructions on knocking but I knew some drivers did this so I let it slide. While I couldn’t attend to the door immediately, around 10 minutes has passed and the knocking continued. I was a bit weary and waited another 5 minutes. After, I checked outside and the food wasn’t there. Did this guy take my order? I decided to call the guy to ask where my food is. Suddenly, I hear his voice… OUTSIDE my door. Again. I call him and ask where my food is. I can’t understand what he’s saying but he keeps asking for my name. I repeat it back to him. Then, he insists I step outside.

At this point, I was completely afraid. He kept asking for my name and told me to come outside and I continued to tell him to leave me alone. Even after raising my voice, he refused to leave or cooperate. I ended the call in frustration (to add context this is an old man…) I check outside again and the food is missing… again.

So this guy stayed (around like 20 or more minutes now) to confirm my order but then… decided to leave with it? I just need help with any sort of context or if anyone experienced anything similar.

I’m at the point now where I’ve been burned so many times that I’m fully admitting it’s my fault for going back to this service.

I use Uber quite frequently as I don’t currently have my own car, so it made sense for me to become an Uber One subscriber. Uber One also gives you a monthly credit for Uber Eats, so occasionally I’ll treat myself to an order. There’s been several times that I’ve been burned one way or another, but I still manage to convince myself that “it’ll be fine this time.”

Well today, my dasher put the food and drink directly in front of the front door of my apartment building. Another person in my building was leaving while I was on my way down to grab it, and of course they knocked the drink and bag over. The entire order was soaked in a huge puddle of root beer right in front of the door. Not their fault, there’s no way they could have seen it, but they were apologetic anyways and even offered me money, which I declined and assured them that it was the delivery person’s fault for putting it there.

Currently on my 4th transfer to another agent, and losing hope that I’ll be compensated for this even though my entire order was ruined.

It took entirely too long for me to finally learn my lesson, but this is the last time I use UberEats. For real this time.

Do most people still worry about keeping platinum. I use to and found out I was making about the same without it.

I usually only work around 4 hours a day give or take after my main job.

Are they smoking crack at Merchant Onboarding in USA? Then I emailed them with all these snapshot evidences and then they ask me to call with extension 1 > 2 > 2 > 2 > 1 where as the option dies after 1 > 2 > 2 because that is support team and they cant entertain Merchant Onboarding requests. I have still spent over 6 hours with these back and forth and am unsure WTH to do anymore. My store is signed up so I dont need their signup link and the number gets me nowhere and I cant go live with my store.

So I ordered a bottle of wine and some groceries on uber eats tonight and I go down to get it and the delivery driver needs a photo of ID.

While he’s taking the photo I don’t know if he pressed something or what happened but he says ‘oh the order has glitched, it’s been cancelled’.
So I say ‘well I definitely didn’t cancel it, can you still give it to me?’
And he explains that because the order is cancelled if he gives it to me they will take the money out of his pocket.
So I ask if we can call customer service. He calls and they tell him ‘sorry but there’s nothing we can do you must return the order!’

So this poor guy has to make TWO trips for zero money and I don’t get my order!

What the actual?!

I was so angry but not with the delivery driver obviously. And there’s no way I was going to take the order and risk him having to pay for it.

I tried to make a complaint on the app but it is SO frustrating! It’s all automated options and funnily enough they don’t have an option for ‘uber eats cancelled my delivery for NO reason’.

I had to just pick a random option and explain in the text the actual issue.
The order is still active and no refund as of yet.

Uber eats NEEDS some competition! If you want a last minute delivery then it seems to be the only option in Australia.

I just ordered Pizza Express, to which the rider waited up the road from the store for a good 20 mins. Tried contacting with no luck.
Then he finally went to the store. Finally!!
He then picked up the order, and then took 20 mins to get here (it takes like 7 mins).

I went outside ready to meet him (I live in an apartment). No joke at all, he was riding his bike down my road, and I watched him do a full u turn in the middle of the road (he didn’t stop or look around at all), and rode off. Then I got a message saying he couldn’t fulfil my order. I got a full refund, but still!

I contacted uber, who couldn’t give a rats arse about the situation. They said ‘you were refunded, can I help with anything else’. Like I want to complain, I waited for ages for my food - for him to do that. I said he’s clearly doing something fishy to get free food. No arse given. Asked if I needed help with anything else- ended chat.

Ordered Pizza Hut now, as pizza express isn’t taking orders anymore (fuming as it’s costed me more, as a pizza and cheesecake was £12 from pizza express due to offers). If I have any problems- I swear down!! Will keep updated if I get my pizza eventually lol. Ordered a cookie dough to cheer me up also- spending more for less anyway- so why tf not.

Hello I order food 2-3 times a day and always tip 30% or 20$ whatever is greater. I am struggling to get food warm is there anything I can do or change to help get food faster. I cannot drive and my parents dont cook they just give me a generous allowance.

Starting two weeks ago, the wait time to speak to support shot up for me from 1 min to 9 min. And that new lengthy queue isn't even real; it's a farce--the 9 min queue always dies halfway with the app saying "did we resolve your issue?" (obviously not!), leaving me high and dry.

Beyond that, there's this cumbersome AI interface where a useless bot basically stonewalls ANY refund possibilities for blatantly wrong item deliveries. Two weeks ago, I was able to connect with humans and clearly convey that parsley was not cilantro and get appropriate customer support. Now, for the past two orders, support is COMPLETELY inaccessible.

Anyone else had a similar turn of events with the Uber Eats app? Any workarounds to this AI-powered hell?

Two days in a row I've had my food stolen, Like is there any real consequence to them doing this? And what possesses people to do it man? I'm more than generous with my tips the one last night I tipped $14 on a $30 order but man I'm so done with this app after having my texts and calls ignored then fighting with support trying to get a refund while watching the driver sit in the same spot for 30 minutes then drive past my house 3 times just to **** with me. I couldn't even place another order yesterday because they picked my food up at 7:50PM and marked it "delivered" at 5AM!!!!!! Told myself it was just one bad driver but nope happened again today.

Tonight when we ordered our dinner we could see the delivery driver on the main road to our house (1/2 mile away if that), made a U turn and the app changed from 'your the next stop' to the driver has another stop. We watched the driver go in the complete opposite direction, 15 mins away, from our house. Why was he not able to drop off the order when he was already so close to our home? I used to drive for Uber years ago and have had this happen to me when I was delivering food. It's such a waste of time and gas. I stopped working for Uber and worked for the competition doing rides. My question is why does Uber do this to their delivery drivers and customers?

I've never had such a long yet completely pointless conversation with customer support. I wonder if that AI, a human, or whatever it was, read a single word of what I wrote🤔

Uber is the legal definition of bait and switch. So many advertisements for deals and messing with the numbers to make orders look reasonable and then falsifying what you’re actually saving and tacking on opaque fees… I don’t even pay for the premium membership but get it free from another source and it’s still not even close to worth it compared to just looking at store coupons and ordering delivery… How is this company in business when they get your orders wrong and miss items 90%+ of the time?

Suddenly the credit card I have used for years for Uber and Uber Eats doesn't work when trying to make a payment. I have filed multiple queries with Uber Support. No assistance has been provided. I have tried removing and re-adding the card. I verified the payment works for things outside of Uber. Has anyone had this happen before?

Every day I do Uber Eats as a driver I get at least one food order where the previous driver stole it. sometimes even 2-3 times a day. Why hasn’t this been fixed? why are drivers allowed to cancel after confirming at the restaurant still?

And they really need to stop this account renting BS because those are the guys doing it 90% of the time.

Does anyone know how I can delete a rider from my account?

It's a friend who doesn't have an Uber account so I added him as a rider and now I can't figure out how to delete his number.

He comes up on the 'Choose a Driver' section.

I have tried to contact Uber but it seems impossible these days to talk to an actual person.
