I am applying to this program at Erasmus. I heard the drop out rate is 40 percent in first year. Is that true. Is it really hard to survive there. I have higher A 's in Maths and predicting A star in A level maths , with knowledge of Further maths. Also is it possible to do off campus jobs in first year while doing 1st year. Any tips to avoid drop out.

Extra opinions on Uni and Uni colleges in the Netherlands as an international pls! (EUC, UCU and more), pls help!

Hey guys! So, I have been visiting multiple universities as well as university colleges in the Netherlands. I would like to study something along the lines of sustainability, but I am also open to liberal arts and science programs. My big thing is student life (a mix of international kids but local integration, of course!); I love a good city, but with a mix of history and nice architecture.

I would love to go to Utrecht Uni for its GSS course because #1 I love the city and #2 the course looks super interesting. However, the problem is, of course, housing (which, of course, I knew about the crisis, but it's still crazy), which makes sense. So that's why I visited UCU. But honestly (I could have just gotten the wrong impression from the guides and campus), I feel that it's so isolated and the environment doesn't feel like the unique "Student life" I would be looking for!

I visited Rotterdam, the University College Erasmus, and really loved it! I loved their 1-year guaranteed housing (which turned out to be really good accommodation) as well as its integration with the normal Uninersity erasmus and the city. The student social life (clubs and housies) seems a little less juvenile (Sry if that's rude) than, like, Leiden Uni college of UCU. I was thinking of making that my top choice (also, I am taking IB and don't have the best score, 32 excluding extra points).

Sorry for all the info, but yeah, let me know what you guys think. I haven't really looked at Maastricht or Groningen because they are so far away and a little off radar, but I am open to learning! (Groningen looks very cool tho, but im not sure being so far north is useful, and since I can't visit it, I'm not sure it would be worth it to go?)
