How to connect ps5 to eduroam

I just bought a ps5 and I am facing a major issue.

Whenever I am trying to connect it to the eduroam WiFi network, it says this is not supported What should I do in this case?

I'm currently living in the Hatta Building

Minor issue - or almost a non issue.

Ps5 doesnt support the enterprise security - which is used because its an educational roaming wifi - not a personal wifi.

Put it simply: you can not connect a ps5 directly - you'd need to get a travel router or share via a laptop. The other option is for it to whitelist the mac adress but thats just never going to happen and they'll probably laugh when you request it

Which is like the cheapest router I csn buy? Also will I get decent speed if I connect using the laptop hot-spot?

  1. Idk, gotta have to google that yourself - cheapest will probably not guarantee decent speed though.

I'm mostly gonna play Story games anyway

if you have most games in the cloud, might take a while to download them
