𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (⁉️) How long will it take for me to get to or surpass my current skill level if I learn the proper technique?

These are above tests that I did. As you can see, I'm not a great typist. Depending on how you count it, I either use three or four fingers. I've been using a computer for a more than a decade, so relearning how to type seems really arduous. Although to be fair I'm really not sure that I've made in progress in my speed and accuracy since like middle school (in fact, I may have gotten worse). Any thoughts on how long I can expect to be slower than I am now?

I dont know what to say other than in really around computers and I like video games. I remember being taught how to type properly when I was younger but I feel that my pinkes are just so slow to react (?). And since I play games a lot, that means I use my mouse heavily. The mouse just uses index and middle finger. So I mostly use this method of 3L 2R (3L 3R if you consider the fact i 99% of the time use my right thumb to hit space). I feel so comfortable like this, it just makes sense. Yet I constantly hear people say how you need to use 5L 5R to type "properly".
I might just be speculating at this ppint but the wrist movement prevents stiffness and the motion and non-fixed position could help reduce carpel tunnel? Cuz I feel that my left wrist is the one to get sore and this happens when I play WASD games where my wrist is fixed.
Thoughts?

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (⁉️) Never really thought about it until last night but my typing is kind of cooked
I only use 6 fingers to type. Middle 3 fingers on each hand so no pinkies or thumbs. I also feel like I don't really know where each letter is as in it seems like I have a muscle memory of a ton of words. I would have a tough time if the word is rarely used, would have to really look at the keyboard. Sometimes when typing, I would accidentally type another similar word instead of the word I wanted to type. Spacebar is usually tapped by the right index finger.
Is it worth learning the traditional method though, where each finger is assigned their own letter? I can average like 85 WPM with like 95% accuracy. If I'm feeling good, I could get 100 WPM.

☄️𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 ☄️ They made it easier and I still fuck up, I was better as a kid
120 WPM 100% accuracy 1 minute... Did it once or twice maybe thrice
but this was when the site was younger and had Capitals randomly
Now they dumbed it down
Because I have a lot of talents and I'm ADD it's tricky for me to do now

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (⁉️) Want your advice on 122 WPM
so, the issue is I started learning touch typing (not constantly) from 2024. through 2023 and 2024, I saw enough linear improvements alongside the journey of learning touch typing. But the issue is, since I started this year (2026), I made a promise that I will practice everyday so I can break the 145wpm barrier. But that unfortunately didn't happen, because at the start of this year, my max 60s wpm was 120wpm, just now, right now, I was able to brake that barrier by just +2 wpm difference from 11 months of semi-daily practicing. The issue is, that I am a constant user of my computer, I sit infront of my computer for straight 8 or 6 hours, whether for school or work, any advice or things to do so I can have slightly bigger jump than +2 wpm through 11 months ? what am I doing wrong exactly ? Thanks for all my fellas.
