so like im the kinda person who has to know everything and why something is happening, what it means, otherwise i feel like my interpretation will be wrong, or that im a 'fake fan' because i dont have an explanation for something. like once i watch a movie, if i dont fully get it, i have to search up and watch movies and see letterboxd reviews explaining what i didnt get to me and maybe a thing i missed because i wanna know everything. im also like this with just everything, like i wanna know what time an event is happening exactly where and who'll be there. but with twin peaks and david lynch movies, you dont always get those explanations. there are things that will happen that you cant just search up and find the one proper answer, because there isn't one. with mulholland drive, i def struggled with this even though i loved the movie, like i was searching high and low for what the hell it all meant, then lost highway confused me even more. even though i still loved it, i was looking up everything to find out "what does this all mean? whats going on?" then i watched twin peaks and was still sort of the same, but because so many scenes were really emotional for me, i kinda realised that i believe his work is to be felt, more than just understood, and the fact that i couldn't immediatley understand everything eventually made me actually feel it more instead of just immediatley searching for answers, and in fire walk with me a lot of things were going on that i didn't immediatley get but with this new mindset i actually sat and let whatw as happening to laura catch up in my head and i cried like a baby, and let myself feel everything, before then looking for answers ( bc i lowk always will). but im really glad that his work has helped me view media now in a different and more interesting and cathartic way.

Potential Spoilers Below
So, we know in Season 2 that MAJ Briggs is taken to the White Lodge, although much like everyone else who visits, he can't remember. Not really. He's taken there against his will when he and Coop are doing some nighttime fishing.
We know that after the events of Season 2, MAJ Briggs is essentially hiding from Mr. C, who, as we know from the books, paid him a visit after leaving the Black Lodge.
We can assume MAJ Briggs knows that the real Dale is trapped in the Black Lodge. Hell if Peaks was renewed for a season 3 back in the 90s MAJ Briggs rescuing Coop was gonna be the plot of the season.
Now, in S3 we learn that MAJ Briggs has been hiding in a place called "The Zone". Bill Hastings and his lover Ruth Davenport ran a blog looking for extra dimensional stuff and stumbled across "The Zone". Upon learning that u access the Zone from 2240 Sycamore in Buckhorn they meet the elusive MAJ Briggs who tells them he's hibernating.
He tasks Hastings and Davenport with accessing a top secret military database for coordinates. We or I believe these coordinates are to the White Lodge or Firemans House. I believe the Lodge but I digress.
When they return with the coordinates for the good MAJ they are accosted by "Dirty Bearded Men". Only Briggs' head is able to escape as he says "Cooper, Cooper".
His body is placed in Ruth's bed by the shady guy who works at the apartment complex with Ruth's head where his should be.
Ok, still with me. WHAT IS THE ZONE? AND WHY WHEN GORDON COLE TRIES TO ACCESS THE PORTAL TO THE ZONE DOES HE SEE, "DIRTY BEARDED MEN IN A ROOM?" It looks like they're at the convenience store not a place called the Zone.
What did I miss? This has been a thorn in my ass since 2017.

I know it wasn’t planned this way, but imagine making two entire seasons of a show just so people could experience one incredible movie.
That’s honestly how Fire Walk with Me felt to me. You spend two seasons trying to understand Laura, only to finally see the story through her eyes. It’s almost like a movie you have to unlock.
I love The Return, but to me, that’s where Twin Peaks truly ends, Everything after feels almost like a spin-off.

I’m just wondering whether you think this is worth fleshing out and pitching to HBO. Also, this sub should definitely have a flair for “dream”, totally in line with Twin Peaks.

Call for help
That ending was genuinely so good although I did want like a "happy" (i know it's not possible) ending but I really like what we got. What I'm thinking (before reading or watching anyone trying to explain it) is that Cooper was basically trying too hard to save Laura to the point where he just messed up the whole entire timeline, but honestly? I don't find that exactly "bad" or anything but It is sad that we only got like 1.5 episodes of actual real cooper.
I miss when this show was about coffee

I recently convinced my wife to join me on my latest Twin Peaks rewatch. We just hit the big killer reveal episode and I'm so blow away at Frank Silva and Ray Wise's performance throughout the franchise.
My wife after the episode was asking me questions about who Frank Silva is and what other acting work had he done. To her surprise outside of Twin Peaks he had only done some theatre as a young man. This question also prompted me to go on a deep dive about Frank and his life. Surprisingly there seems to be very little about him the person.
I'm curious as to why that is? Considering he is such a major force in the franchise you'd think he would have been as popular as any of the other actors. I understand some of that could have come down to the fact he died so young. But reading what became of his life after Fire Walk with Me made me feel so sad.
Can anyone point me to any resources as I would like to build a biography. I'm aware of the WIP Magazine but any other interviews would helpful.

Spoilers for season 3:
I am wondering if anyone has any interesting thoughts or theories about Diane, and her overall role, in season 3?
Obviously, I understand the tulpa aspect of her storyline, that seems quite straightforward.
What I'm struggling with is, how/why did she end up as/part of Naido in the purple sea place, and what was her purpose beyond that? Do you think the Diane who appeared from Naido in part 17 is actually Diane? Why did she see a copy of herself outside the motel?

Hi fellas! I know this subreddit it's only for twin peaks, but with the excuse that they were going to edit the script of unrecorded night for the public, I became obsessed with the idea of having my own book with the Ronnie Rocket script, this project being one of the biggest losses in terms of unpublished Lynch projects.
Bc I'm from Spain, I started translating it for my own reading.
It's been days of hard work translating it, but I think I'm getting closer to a good spanish version.
I have the same pdf format with the original script
I hope you guys like it!!!

This will contain spoilers.
So we know from the original series that Glastonbury Grove is an entrance to the Black Lodge, sycamore trees, and a small pool of black liquid that smells of burnt motor oil.
That being said, when Frank, Bobby, Hawk, and Andy go to Jack Rabbits Palace, they come across a sycamore tree and a pool of gold liquid. Then Andy is transported to The Firemans location. This is the White Lodge.
Do we all agree with this? Believe it or not after all this time, people still think that it's not the White Lodge.
I know it is never specifically announced as the White Lodge but it's obvious.
Right?

No catch, just want it to go to someone who’ll enjoy it!
