TI: 4th Edition Custom command tokens

Hello!

I made a custom set of command tokens and wanted to get opinion which do you guys/girls think is the best one (and worst)? For me it hast to be black.. I know that we got colored command tokens from TE but I like the feel of plastic instead of cardboard and they look more vivid in the system (because of the white color)

I think they're color based not faction based.

yes they are color based. I dont like to mix factions with colors because ofthen they are not simillar

Super cool!!

I agree it is way better to have the CC follow color instead of faction. Makes the game state more readable, and setup easier. We use the colored tokens from TE

Thank you! I actually dont know why in the beggining they decided on the idea that every faction should have their set of command tokens. Its way easier and more readable when they are color based

They do look cool.

I totally get the desire to move away from individual tokens per faction, and go with colours that match the plastic instead.

Personally though, I really love seeing the individual icons for each faction. But I wanted to also have something that also matched the unit colours. So, I purchased command token clip on "surrounds" from Etsy. Quite a pricey solution, but they look absolutely fabulous. I imagine you would be able to make something similar if you like that idea.

Intreasting... They are very pricey (the roll of 1kg of filament costs in my country the same as the 1 color set of command tokens and 1 color set has about 15g filament max), but I agree they look visually pleasing... There is one problem that I dont know how to solve so let me ask you: Do you assembly the tokens every time you play? (you have to take out the plastic from the previous tokens and insert them on the new faction that has been picked) It sounds a litle bit tedious.. but I dont know if you do it that way

Yes. When I'm hosting games I do that. It is a bit fiddly, but I am obsessed with accessories for TI4, so I love it.

It takes about 20 minutes for 6 factions (including the rectangle control tokens too). It is definitely worth my time, especially because I am colour blind, so it really helps me see whose tokens are where.

Yep, the ones I linked are expensive. I think mine were cheaper. Incidentally, a friend printed them himself, but his are a bit loose, which is annoying. My ones fit snugly on the tokens and don't come off during the game.
