Under new management (well, more or less)!

Hey everyone!

Reddit has been nice enough to add me to the mod panel (since the top mod is fully unresponsive) to help clean out the troll scourge!

I've gone through an nuked most of, if not all, the crap posts and comments so we don't need to look at the anymore :)

I'll do my best to keep up on it but will always rely on everyone here for the reports. So, please please please continue reporting things.

If anyone has any thoughts, suggestions or general comments for the sub, go ahead use this post for them!

I need friends :(

Hey hey, I'm very socially awkward and anxious but most sources I've found to help transition always mention a good community or people but I don't really trust my family enough to tell them yet.

I'm currently male, wanting to transition to female, 21. I know reddit's not the best place for this, but I don't have a Facebook, and other social media apps suck at connecting you with new people.

I live in the broken-arrow/Tulsa, Oklahoma area if there's someone else who needs a friend. I don't mind in person, but would rather we start online. (Social anxiety and what not). I also wouldn't mind a purely online friendship

MTF. I’m at the point in my life where I’ve made the decision to fully embrace who I am and begin my journey of seeing myself on the outside the way i see myself on the inside, a female. Yesterday, with my hair and makeup done, was the first time in my life ive ever truly seen a glimpse of myself.

This is all so new to me to I guess i just wanted to try and get some advice and talk to others

Finally exploring after keeping it repressed for years—Hi everyone!

Hello everyone, I“m Ellie or Lacey (feel free to use whichever one you prefer, as I'm testing them both out!).

I'm currently questioning my gender identity. I'm trying to finally express and understand a side of myself that I’ve kept repressed for several years at this point, and I'm looking for a safe space to do that.

I might mostly read and listen at first, but I'm really glad to have found this group. If anyone else started their journey after keeping things repressed for a long time, I'd love to hear how you navigated these early stages.

How do I overcome my sexual frustration?

I am 25, a t-girl and am probably demisexual. Idk because it could mainly be dysphoria, but maby not. I began HRT on July 25, 2024. Since then, every alteration on my body was amazing. I actually like the reduced sex drive, and it was no problem for quite some time. I am in a relationship and sex for me was always more focused on my gf (cis, 25 yo). There is no problem with that, and I enjoy participating in her fun. But because of my bottom dysphoria she can't touch me down there, therefore I always did that myself. That somehow felt okay.

Personally, I am not a fan of a steel rod, and I prefer my thing to be smooth and soft. Doing it otherwise is a bit painful, not very comfortable and I only did it in the past with myself, because I didn't know there were other ways. So, for a while I could do humping, petting (always with underpants on) and touching myself. That doesn't work anymore and even for masturbation it's tricky. Now I barely feel something before I come and then Im finished and can't come again or need time to do it again. The problem is I don't like having cum anywhere, because it's disgusting to me (only my own one). Therefore, I close the foreskin with two or three fingers and then release myself in the toilet.

This effort of course is a turnoff to me and after that I only try to come again If im really, really horny. Because of that I tried out new things. I used a vibrator on my crotch, touched my nipples and even got into prostate stimulation. Still, I can't cum without touching my thing and when I do its allways little to no sensation until I feel something, and then it's over in 2-3 Minutes. And it's not very rewarding.

Touching my nipples feels better than 80% of the crotch-action but I can't come from that and it's not enough. So, I though, okay I have to learn how stimulating the prostate works. I watched videos, tried tutorials, cleaned myself, used a lot of lube, two types of vibrators (one reall small and short, one really large and long) and my fingers. I tried everything to feel comfortable, many positions and I've put a lot of effort, time, and work into it. After my third time trying it I gave up. I could feel my muscles tensing and relaxing, the pressure, even the need to pee, but never any real sensation or pleasure. Maby, I have the wrong toys, I did it wrong or something else, but it just won't work.

Ā

Soooo I tried anything I could think of that I can do, post-surgery and this is it. I'm waiting until November 1 because that's when I can schedule a preliminary consultation — and I don't even know if I'll get one. And even if I do, it'll still be a while before the actual surgery takes place. By now, I'm so sexually frustrated that I don't even expect the surgery to make things better. I still needed it, though, because I simply can't live without it.

But even if things improve just a little, I’ll still have to wait a long time before I can use her, and I’ll probably need a second corrective surgery. And I don’t know if I should just accept that I won’t be able to enjoy sex much until then — and that maybe things will get a little better afterward, once everything has healed — or if there’s anything else I can try.

What I know about myself now is the following:

- I really enjoy giving pleasure to other people

- My gf can touch me anywhere but the crotch

- I don't show my thing Infront of my gf; the boxers always stay on (except for ass spanking)

- Teasing my nipples feels good

- I can put stuff in my back without it hurting but I couldn't get pleasure from it as of now

- Only via crotch touching - by me - I can come but, it's not really fulfilling

- I am open to try new stuff

- I need and will get bottom surgery and hope my sex live improves

Ā

It's better than nothing and most of the time I can ignore it. I masturbate like once or twice a week, which is fine. The most stuff always happens in my head. I can have fun during sex, but it's never as good as the anticipation before it. And really good sex for me means, my gf comes and I come, but for me it takes like 5 minutes, and sometimes after she comes, I am too exhausted to even make that happen.

I may be demisexual, but this sexual frustration is really getting on my nerves. Lately I can't even make the two times a week of "me time" a somewhat fulfilling event. I want to change that. Is there still hope? Can I overcome my sexual frustration? And if so, how?

Ā

Thanks for reeding all that. And please be kind to me. You don't have to help if this isn't your thing. Also, these are all my personal experiences, and I have no problem with t-girls who enjoy their body parts and can do things I can't. I am happy for you, and you are not any less trans than me or vice versa.

Looking for help

I am a 20-year-old transgender person from Iraq, and I want to undergo gender transition. I took hormones for a few months, but my family found out and threatened and physically assaulted me. They forced me to stop taking hormones and confined me to my home because of my gender identity. I have been experiencing physical abuse and confinement at home, and this situation is still ongoing.

Unfortunately, I do not have any evidence to prove the threats or abuse I have experienced. However, I am genuinely afraid for my safety and need help.

Is there any organization or support service that could help me in this situation, protect my safety, and potentially help me find a way to leave Iraq and live somewhere where I can safely be myself and pursue my gender transition?

About Me

Here I am, trying to find my way into becoming the woman I’ve always felt inside. I’ve been on HRT for the past 10 months, and I’ve really been trying to grow, change, and let my body become more feminine. I’ve been hoping that my breasts and the other changes in my body will help me finally feel like I belong in a woman’s body.
I’m 64 years old, and I know I started this journey very late in life. I’ve never even gone out in public dressed as a woman. In many ways, I’m still trying to understand who I am and find the courage to take that next step.
The hardest part is that no one knows what I’m going through—not even my wife of 47 years. I love her deeply, and that’s what makes this so frightening. I don’t know how to tell her, or even where to begin.
For those of you who have been through something similar, I would really appreciate hearing how you handled it. Did you tell your spouse right away? Did you wait until you felt more certain and comfortable with yourself?
Part of me wants to stay on this path quietly until I’m further along. Another part of me knows that eventually I may need to let the person I’ve shared almost my entire life with know the truth about who I am becoming.
I’m scared, confused, hopeful, and honestly just looking for some understanding from people who might know what this feels like. If you have any advice or personal experience to share, I would be truly grateful.
