Man this is frightening. A lot of people won’t catch (or care) that this is AI. The only saving grace—and it’s a big one that can apply to any hypothetical AI film—is that it has no identity outside of the movie itself. Meaning, Zack London is not a household name that’ll put people in seats. There are no actors for people to say “have you seen the trailers for that new INSERT NAME HERE movie?”. Ironically, I think after its release, this will live amongst its progenitors (TikTok, Shorts, Reels, etc) in similar sliced up portions.

It uses AI to satirize AI and how we use it.

It's like melting down a glacier to satirize global warming

Using a medium to highlight its flaws is a time honored critique.

Not if the flaws are the destruction of our planet, the threat on the employment of 99% of the working class and the anihilation of truth and facts on a global scale.
You cannot behave immorally to criticize immoral actions. If you do not believe the use of AI is inherently immoral you have no place satirizing AI in the first place.

Why does this look AI af?
Is there a word to describe it? It's like an uncanny valley but instead of just being for the face, it's for EVERYTHING. The movement of the wind, the dirt, the water. All of it has this "uncanny filter" applied to it.

I looked into this "film" a bit further. I am not taking a position on AI video here, but just stating what this is:
While the visuals were generated using AI, it used human voice actors, human composers, human-made sound effect, and other post-production personnel to make the final product.

gossip goblin does some amazing work. The previous parts to this piece are equally stunning. Very emotional and moving.

You won't believe it, but this SI slop-server has their history hidden (so they can serve more slop).
