There is a bonded pair of senior TFTs in the Parksville-Qualicum Beach SPCA. One is definitely a TFT, the other appears to be a Chihuahua mix. I would love to take them, but I just can't take on 2 additional seniors. My 2.5 year old TFT already has me fighting for my life with vet bills.

Hello, everyone. I have had dogs for decades and my last one passed last month from cancer and age. I have had large dogs previously but I'm at the age where a smaller dog would suit me better and hopefully, be litter box trained, because it gets cold in PA. Could someone recommend a reputable breeder in the PA/MD/DE area? I probably won't get one until the spring but would like to talk to breeders before then and perhaps reserve a pup in advance.

We are trying to decide between the TFT and a Miniature Pinscher. We were hoping to get a dog that loves to walk 3 miles a day, but still can calm down and behave when exposed to other dogs when out shopping at hardware stores etc. We love our dogs to do everything with us.
Do most TFT enjoy riding in a stroller to go shopping or are they too hyper to tolerate being restrained?
Also, do you feel your TFT sheds a lot?

I think maybe Toy Fox Terrier and Chihuahua mix. What do you think?

I have been a lurker on here for quite a while and thought I should show you my new(ish) pup. Tully just turned 5 months old and is an absolute whirlwind. I am starting to live for his nap time! He loves fetch, splooting, and the occasional tv show. I also think he’s a very handsome boy!

3 males & 1 female, not sure which male I’ll be matched with yet! My current TFT, (8y/o F) is the aunt of this litter.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good cone for our little guys to wear during recovery?

This past weekend we welcomed our sixth TFT to the pack, the fifth that we got as a puppy. She is literally the most energetic of all of the TFTs we have had. When she's ready to play, she's WILD--and we love it. The two older dogs aren't so sure about her yet, so they are all kept separated. Paisley is 14 and really doesn't need any nonsense in her life, and Ollie who's eight, is anxious, jealous and would probably bite her if he could, but one week in and they are both slowly accepting she's here to stay. In a few more weeks they should be able to coexist with minimal mayhem.

Hi. I have a female Toy Fox—she's 9 months old. When she turns a year old, I want to get another female Toy Fox puppy. Mine isn't spayed. Does anyone have experience keeping two females? Please share.
