Okay, maybe a silly question, but how do you create Drakenhof Templars? I am playing Neferata, quite late game and I cannot figure it out. Is it just not an option?

Obviously black fortresses are mandatory. And if you can (for lack of a better term) donate them to a local Norscan tribe, cool. but what about everything else as I move south? Do I keep them? Or will I get more out of it by helping vassals expand?

I have won some absolutely crazy fights that should not have been possible just by parking a necromancer in the middle of a couple stacks of zombies and fast forwarding for 20 minutes. You don’t even need a mortis engine or damage spells for most encounters. It feels so cheap, even more so than other cheese strategies like corner camping, but there are so many auras and aoe buffs in the vampire count roster that it’s like they are screaming at you to do it. It works insanely well with nagash and the mass+healing cap buffs in the black pyramid, not even mentioning how strong Ghorst makes them.

My lvl 8 Alarielle was fighting a very angry lvl 18 dwarf lord. With a very, very strong dwarf army.

Decisive defeat in autoresolve.

Two clues as to how I managed to win this battle:

1. My army got a total of 866 kills, but 1,192 dwarfs died on the battlefield.
2. Alarielle had 134 speed on horseback.

Spoiler:

I managed to get the Irondrakes (both Trollhammer Torpedoes and flamethrowers) to fire into their own units. Same with the Gyrocopters, which dropped their bombs on their own troops.

The map also helped. I had to find a crevice where I could take cover from their direct fire while still being able to shoot at them. Then I had the idea of forming a line to expose the dwarfs' flanks and rely on my bolt thrower to shoot into blobs and deal a lot of AoE damage.

also had to make them waste their ammo on key units : the Trollhammers and Quarrellers.

And I had the "true line of sight" mod activated. It may have helped me to get some friendly fire on their units, but it also made my balista do some too. But I prefer to mention it.

No matter what faction I choose, at around the turn 30 there's a neighbor faction absolute miles ahead of mine, that simply comes and demolish me at combat.

Usually i go trough the early game just fine, finish off the first enemy and capturing the first/ second province. But, as soon as that happens, a neighbor enemy faction shows up, their leader a lot of lvls ahead, their army a lot better, and simply wins battle by battle after me. It happened playing with greenskins and the dwarves came up and beat me, and just now with empire, with slaneesh beating me up.

I thought i had a good economy and good soldiers, but while my leader was around lvl 10, their slaneesh lead was lvl 30, and their army annihilated mine.

Simply don't know what I'm doing wrong, I try to read guides and stuff online and I simply can't overcome this situation

So, I've always wanted to experience a fantasy battle field and I feel like TW WH. And I feel like this is the only game where I can get this experience.

But....how many reskins of certain units are out there? Or rather how many units are used for the same purpose.

I mean the only difference between Irondrakes and warfare throwers is that you can flame your own skaven slaves. But that's inadvisable as Dawi.

I also know that Medusa's and Phoenix's are unique on there own.

Just encountered what I think to be an issue, never really got this far with the Warlord Underling so I'm not 100% sure. It looks like my Stormvermin (Halberds) are not being added to my Masterplan army even though the Stormvermin (Swords & Shields) units are. The entry even states that it adds 1 unit of Stormvermin (Swords & Shields) to the army, whereas the Halberds does not.

Does anyone have any insight as to whether or not this is a game error, or if CA is already aware of it if it is?

Nagash is silly. His auto is weak, so I have fought 8 battles manually with him alone this turn. Didn't wait for reinforcements so I'd have more opportunity to regenerate movement.

Tempting to continually grave call trash for his army, just to autoresolve some fights.

Apparently this was a Heroic Victory where nobody died.

I was able to recruit units from building until approximately when Nagash swallowed Arkhan. Is it a bug or I miss something? I still can recruit via Global and Raise of the dead

I was grinding out mortarchs for more armies but once i did all of Vlad's requirements it wouldn't let me recruit him, is this a glitch or am i stupid?

I've played Borris and Thanqual from the new DLC but the other two LLs seem a bit buggy. Who is having fun with their campaign? Give me an idea!

Not necessarily the hardest start position overall, I'm just curious if there are any lords out there that have it particularly rough in the first battle they fight! I'm not the best with dark elves but Lokir's turn 1 battle was always a slight challenge for me!

When I play as skaven, I’m constantly thinking that the green liquid is mt dew. Hear me out, mainly cause there was a case where someone sued mt dew for finding a rat in the drink can. Lawyers proved in court that would be impossible due to the chemicals in it and the processing of putting it in a can would disintegrate the body. So whenever I use warpfire (love these new stormfiends) I’m constantly asking humans and dwarves if they do the dew, in a skaven appropriate voice

While playing my last Empire campaign, I've been getting kinda tired of doing the same combo of arty + guns hero frontline army comp and I want to try some other ways to fight.

I've been thinking of doing greatswords + knight orders only armies, pure hammer and anvil (or maybe just hammer and hammer), with maybe some uncommon supports like beast mage.

That made me think, what other unoptimal army comps did other people came up with to spice up their games?

So, painting the map. Almost done. Cathay however... They wound me. I'm winning in theory but the mix of range and solid skirmishers (those damn TIGER PEOPLE) are shredding my armies. My GHORSTSTACK is even having trouble.

Anyone got tips for slapping Cathay as Neferata?

Do note I have all LLs for the counts except Kemmler because I got Archaons End Times and somehow never got those 2 diplomacy acts with any of the required factions.
