Tomato powder so far
Took all day (with breaks-i need a bigger grinder) but I've ground all my dehydrated tomatoes. I have dehydrated all my extra tomatoes which is a lot and for the next few days I'll have more coming off the vine for the season so maybe a container or two more is in the works. I do this because it's easy and versatile and I needed more ways to keep tomatoes good besides the freezer and hardly have the time to can.

Show and Tell Holy tomatoes!
Picked the remaining mature tomatoes before the first frost, and holy cow is it a ton!!! After last year’s sad harvest I didn’t know what to expect this year but it was abundance, abundance, abundance! I need to find more sauce recipes and other recipes for them 🤣. My favourites are curry, shakshuka, pasta sauce, and pizza sauce. What are your favourite recipes to use for your tomatoes?
Also, I have yet to try fried green tomatoes or green tomato chutney because I’m apprehensive about the flavour, for those of you who have tried either, what does it taste like? How do they compare to ripe tomatoes, or other flavour profiles?

Mail order plants.
I got a pair of purple Cherokee and a pair of yellow cherry tomatoes from Bonnie Plants. One of the yellow cherry tomato plants arrived in a very poor state. From the picture you can see that its main stem has been snapped. I'm thinking of maybe tying the other stem to the main stem with some gardening Velcro. Any other tips on how I can get this to survive?

Question Looking for Tips on How to Grow Tomatoes In This Contraption
I just put this indoor greenhouse together, and plan to try to grow tomatoes in it, starting tomorrow. I got some pots, and plan to try to grow three Tiny Tim micro-dwarf plants on each of the top two shelves (I figure the bottom two shelves I can reserve for seedlings). The instructions were pretty useless, so if anyone has used something like this successfully to grow tomatoes, I have a bunch of questions:
What are the different colored lights for? There is pink, blue and white.
How bright should the lights be when planting seeds? Should that change as they grow?
The lights come with a timer. How many hours of light should I set it for initially, and later?
Do I need to put a fan in there? On each shelf?
Should I monitor the temperature, and if so, what should I be looking for?
Any other tips or things to look out for would be greatly appreciated!
