I’ll keep this short
Meadow had so much potential and hopes and dreams of her own. She was focused and studious and very type A. It was infuriating to watch her change her plans for the men she was dating. Finn, moving to west coast blah blah and then not going to med school for patsy. I know I KNOW she was interested in working at the poverty legal clinic BUT the show heavily implied that she changed her plans for med school after she met patsy. I remember her being very feisty, rebellious, and opinionated - i wish that had continued.
I loved Carmela. I wish she had cheated on Tony at some point. He really deserved it. Or i wish he had found out about her thing with Mr Weggler. I remember Tony talking to one of his goomahs saying he was the only man Carm had ever been with.
Dr Melfi was also a phenomenal character. However, she showed insane restraint by not telling Tony to send a hit at “employee of the month”. I wish she had caved in and told him about it. And tbh i really do not get what point they were trying to make with such an explicit r-word scene.
Anyways these are just some surface-level thoughts. Obviously, there’s more nuance to things.

Ever wonder where Tony got that name? Me neither- but I just happen to pause the TV at the end credits of Irregular Around The Margins and what do you know, there's a Key Rigging Grip that just happens to be named Louie Petraglia.
But wait theres more! In S2E11 an actor named Louis Petraglia plays a sanitation worker who dumps the garbage in the parking lot.
What, you gonna tell me you never pondered that?

Let's say under panic and all they accidentally just start shooting and hit Chris and Furio, realize what they did, and run off.

Been rewatching the series since time immemorial. I probably skipped through about 90% of this episode just now.
Tracee’s daddy issues. Fielder and the hasidic homeboy’s drama droning on across multiple scenes, made worse by depressed Caitlin (and her alarming lack of cleavage display). The happy wanderer extorting blowjobs (dumb fuck doesn’t deserve two eyes).
On that note: you do get peak psycho Ralphie. But tbh I saw Gladiator and I thought it was bullshit.
And spare me all the Proostian (or was it Nitch) bullshit about how I should appreciate this being a searing expose of the exploitation of young women. A hit is a hit. And this, my sub, is not a hit.

Or was it just casual bigotry. When he beats up Muscles Marinara he calls him a mutt, because the kid is like half Puerto Rican. And in retrospect his hostility towards Noah seems overblown for a relationship that wasn’t that serious yet. Did he have some type of complex about them?

The ending, when Tony wakes up in the Bing with that goofy t shirt looking for CHRISTAFUHHH , he walks past that same spot Paulie later sees the virgin mary in The Ride, s6e9. You see him stop anxiously like Paulie does before his sighting later on while the camera zooms out eerily to where Tracee used to dance. Idk the time stamp in the episode, was pointed out to me and it looks genuinely plausible, not some far-fetched boolshit. Look up "the sopranos, whoever did this ending" on youtube 33k views uploaded 5 years ago. Pause at 57 seconds into the video and go to .25 speed, then play it seriously looks like a white-cloaked woman is depicted as walking past the bing mirror.

In Season 5, Episode 8, Johnny Sack showed-off his Maserati to Tony Soprano.
He said he "always wanted to drive a fine Italian sports car"
It makes me wonder, why did he buy a Maserati, when Ferraris and Lamborghinis are far more popular and better?

I mean muscles marinara sure I give you that.
Johnny Sac beats a guy unconscious and pisses on him. He is a nearly 60 year old man that smokes 3 packs a day. He would barf up a lung on the first swing.
Phil Lenoardo cracks Benny good but the guy is like 80 and had a heart attack.
Benny is like 4 foot 6 he is about as intimidating as a Cosette.
Christopher does arm curls that one time but aside from his massive beak he looks about as strong as Geroge Raft. He surely has no brains.
Feech. He was older than the electric light bulb and could barely move.
Bobby was a big guy but it was 93% fat. If he sat on you fine vut outside of that unless there was Karen's ziti around he couldn't even see his own shoe laces.
Patsy and his tall goofy friend? Lol they looked like door to door Bible salesmen.
Even Ralphie. He could barely beat up that guy and needed Jackie Jr.
Now I will give some credit. I did beleive Richie could take the Jackeet. Tony pre being shot seemed like he could go. Sean and Dino looked like they could brawl. Paulie I would not fuck with no matter how old of a man he is.
But then you see guys like Vtio Eugene Walden Butchie Doc or any of those other old middle aged fooks and you really gotta suspenders you beliefs that these guys were beating up people.

I’m in a discussion with a friend, who has used an extended metaphor involving a restaurant or other small business.
I’m looking for an example from The Sopranos (he’s a fan) in which the hang around some business and tell customers it’s not good, and that they should go somewhere else.
They didn’t really do that with Artie’s or the sporting goods store, but I feel like they did do something like that.
Any suggestions are appreciated

The fat guy should’ve been the restaurant owner, and the guy with the earring would’ve been more believable ladies man. I said my piece.

The Homeland Security Act of 2002 was enacted on 25th November, which created ICE. Furio's last episode was broadcast 1st December 2002.
Immigration got him, you ever think of that?
End of fuckin' story.

I'm mainly looking at Ade's handler the 2nd one. I'm just thinking abt Ade's dilemma before she died. But as soon as Matush gets involved it's over for her and the agents know it. They don't need to keep her happy or appease her somewhat. Now they lean hard on her and it makes her sick. God I miss Adrianna and I blame mostly the feds for her death. Those cold heartless pricks. 😒
Anyways I guess sometimes it's usual to rage abt law enforcement in crime drama shows when it's literally their job to nip crime in the bud but ooh whatever. I just can't stand any fed agent in the show. Maybe except whats his name with the parasite from Afghanistan or wherever the fuck

Just watched cold stones and it made me wonder how Ro gets by, does she have a job ? Do the other guys take care of her? I know Jackie was the boss but he was only boss for a short stint and when Tony was in the coma paulie and Vito were so resentful to even help Carmela out. And when she’s talking about Angie with the body shop she doesn’t seem spiteful unlike Carmela who’s clearly bothered that another women can get by and be successful without a husband. I love Ro

In a couple of episodes across the entire series a scene cuts to Paulie Walnut finishing a joke off with the punchline "Use Ya Hatt!!".
I've always wondered what the joke was?

I know he was acting up because of his blood pressure medication, but it still didn’t excuse those piss poor dance moves.
