I spent the last few days trying to squeeze an entire urban ecosystem into a tiny 20x20 footprint. The concept is an old abandoned factory that got revitalized.

The Layout:

• 1st Floor (Commercial): 4 distinct micro-businesses! A cozy café, a grunge tattoo studio, a bright pottery/botany shop, and a VIP lounge bar.
• 2nd & 3rd Floor (Residential): 4 custom apartments. I designed each loft to match the personality of the shop owners downstairs, including a 2-story luxury penthouse for the owner of the VIP bar.

How to play it despite game limitations: I know the game doesn't officially allow functional businesses AND rentals on the same lot. I recommend playing this by putting 4 Sims in one household, locking their apartment doors to everyone but themselves, and having them run the shops downstairs. Alternatively, you can set it to a 'Residential Rental' if you want to be a landlord, or 'Retail' if you just want to run the businesses!

Also, its important yall know that you can only have the areas for 1 business at a time and only 1 can be open at the same time, so, for you to make it good you'll have to change that every time you want to switch between businesses. (This apply to option 1)

Took the idea from CarynandConnieGaming from Youtube, it was really complicated, using only 1 pack difficults everything.

The creator stops uploading videos and I’ve seen it so frequently on series that are really good! it’s rare for some of them to end properly! Can anyone tell me why cause it happens to so many good creators?

Hey guys! I've been playing on my forever world for around 2 years, and it's been a very fun way to play, but I'm kinda lost on how to keep going.

Whenever I make a household I either make a really complex backstory or just focus on a pack for gameplay. Either way I get bored very quickly, and it's been a few months since I last came up with a household I enjoy

For whoever plays in a forever world, how do you keep things fresh? Also, how do you handle cc and mods for your save?

Im currently playing a Halloween sims save file. This is my Frankenstein Sim and skeleton Sim. They are in a very serious relationship and are expecting a little boy! I love my mods

Not even the Bodybuilder career is dependent on muscles.

An example that comes to mind would be sumo wrestling, where fat Sims would be more likely to succeed than lean Sims.

So I previously posted that my super sim had a baby which was a vampire even though she had no vampire lineage however both her parents were dormant wolves. Turns out, somehow, she is both a vampire and a werewolf. She needs blood to drink, and to stay out of the sun. She also transforms into a wolf when her fury gets too high and howls. I only have the ability in CAS to edit her dark form not her werewolf form but she does transform into a werewolf. In the photos you can see she gets both moodlets from being a vampire and a werewolf. Her plumbob is still the vampire one. She has had werewolf labels for different actions since aging up to a child such as wild shower but was unsure if she was actually a vampire or werewolf until she became a teen

I was in my Simself's household, working on solving the Strangerville situation, when my good buddy David Kessler (yes, the protagonist from An American Werewolf in London) called me up and asked me if I wanted to go to his birthday party. I said sure, and had my husband, my sister Morgue, and her wife (Maria Brink of the metal band In This Moment) come with me.

Big mistake. The birthday boy was in full werewolf form and raging, running around his house and howling at people. Maria wouldn't even come into the house. Unfortunately, she's a level one vampire and it was broad daylight, so she burned to death before we could leave.

I rage quit the game at that moment. Actually, I rather abruptly turned off my entire PS4. Then I went back in, loaded up the Kessler household, and did the maxed out fairy roommate trick to Soothe The Beast before his birthday, so that it never happened.

I've already been to the forums and added my "me too" to the official report of this crap. How long is it going to take EA to fix it? Every full moon I go through this.

These are previously played households but not current. I keep getting these pop ups as if they’re in the cinema. But not sure which mod is doing it?

So I play a rotational game. And I messed up somehow because when I came back to my household that was only supposed to have two children ( a child and toddler) it had four. Neighborhood stories is disabled so I guess I must have answered one of those damned expand the family cards wrong.

Anyway I hate these extra ass twins. They're taking so much time from my storyline and the sims keep stopping what they're doing to look after their needs. I know I could delete them, but one thing that has made this save so much fun is rolling with whatever random shit the game gives me.

So I think now that they are toddlers the way I want to incorporate them into the storyline is locking them out of the house, giving them a tent in the backyard, potty chairs and putting fruit into their inventory. The only drawback though is if the game will still try and make my sims take care of them. So if they're out in the tent and they have food and toys and stuff in the yard will my sims still try and go out there and care for them?

Edit>>> So I've made a decision. These twins are human and their vampire supremacist mother hates them for being born human. No she's not turning them, where's drama in that. First they'll be banished to the backyard because I had vision of these feral backyard kids, but someone will call CPS.

Their mother will convince CPS that everything is fine because getting the children taken is an unacceptable embarrassment (and don't abusive parents do that all the time). Then she'll lock them in the basement, it'll be a nice basement where they have to master a bunch of skills and learn instruments and stuff and live with their father because she's sick of him too. Meanwhile the two oldest children can stay upstairs while the mistakes live in the basement until they aren't an embarrassment anymore.

I’m so mad at this dumb game. It told me there was an error with the saving, and I don’t understand why. Maybe for the debug items but even then, it doesn’t make sense, I always use them. Is this normal? Have that ever happened to anyone else?

My elder lady butler Nylah had become a beloved member of our family. So I asked her to move in and fired her as the butler. Hired a new lady and gave her a bed in the hallway.

Nylah can literally do whatever she wants until she dies happy. I will only ever control her if I need childcare assistance. My kids all adore her.

One of my two main adult sims became a fairy. She then used science to have the fourth child with her wife (my original sim from CAS). The only disappointment is that becoming a fairy turned Siobhan Fyres white as hell.

Hello! I’m trying out a step-by-step challenge; the goal is to rediscover the game expansion by expansion... I’d forgotten just how bare-bones the base game was! 🤭🤯 What do you think about finding frogs with just the three basic towns? Not to mention finding any of the rarer plants... I can't seem to win Gold in the Diner event; no matter what I do, it refuses to register the "listen to the stereo" action!
