One of the things that turns me off about Jon Stewart is when he talks with a lisp or a prance or gets real sassy. I love him otherwise while I like him otherwise but when he does that, not only does it feel cheap, overdone and borrowed but it is also such a short cut. Critiques patriarchy or misogyny, but he seems to really struggle with masculinity himself doesn’t he? He did it last night while making fun of Trump and it’s almost like the comedy would’ve been better if he would’ve just said Trump is so gay that… or Trump is such a gay president that, but when he gets into the gay face or the performative of it all I’m lost.

Just joined waitlists for Tu-Th shows a week from now. Is it a lottery at this point? Any sense of my chances?

Hi, in the latest episode of the daily show, Jon Stewart made a joke about RFK Jr, saying 'we got a new edition to the Kennedy Family Abandoning Women To Their Fate Wikipedia page'.

This was prompted by a footage from the WHCD showing RFK Jr leaving the room and leaving his wife behind. Since I'm not American, I didn't quite get the joke. Does it have something to do with the 'Kennedy curse'?

i don't get how trevor noah was not popular as i thought of him to be better than john. I stopped watching the show when trevor left because the new people in the show sucks except ronny, daisy etc.

anyone know why the latest episode (Season 31, Episode 43) isn't on Paramount+? I can usually watch the episode from the night before with no problems the day after. Also thought it was weird that I found a post on an Amazon forum about the same episode number from season 30 was also missing the day after it initially aired

I think they would both stand up to MAGA and the Trump influence. Seeing him on the show last week made me think of the possibility.
