I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for on reddit, but maybe im stupid. Im 39 My adopted kids are going through school now but all their stuff is online and there is basically no example problems or formulas for me to work from, I grew up in the era of textbooks and the textbook explained the specific process and showed examples of it in action at start of chapter so I got a reference of its utility in context. I aced Chem 3 and calculus 2, but i haven't touched anything in 20 years and when I get a homework question, I ask for the book chapter covering the math they doing, they answer we don't have books and no examples. I just want some math and science public school books or maybe even pdfs but id prefer physical.

Algebra, geometry, trig, physics, statistics

Biology 1 and 2

Chemistry 1 and 2

Basic earth sciences/geology

My math basics are still solid, Im just out of touch on anything outside of my profession, gimme a textbook from the 00's and I can figure out anything

Personally I think most of it is common sense but there’s a handful of specific lingo in the book I need and I don’t think it’s worth the amount of money it’s listed for:
