The top law enforcement official in Texas is afraid to debate a schoolteacher.

Meanwhile, here's a TV commercial about how Texas Tough Ken Paxton is.

It’s crazy this man’s audio keeps on getting leaked. Many people think someone on paxtons team is an ally of coryn and they’re mad because John didn’t win the primaries.

I don't think his campaign wants him to win.

Entirely believable considering his own staffers reported him to the FBI. It seems most of the people closest to him dislike him

11

u/Lesurous 2h ago

Ken Paxton, such a piece of shit his own staff sabotages him.

47

u/Mister_Spacely 6h ago

I don’t think anyone wants him to win

The polls are close. Trust me, there are a ton of people buying whatever propaganda the GOP is pushing.

Tell a conservative that every time they hop on one leg and bark like a big dog an LGBTQ+ person will die and they will do nothing else for the rest of their life with the biggest smile you've ever seen.

12

u/FoolishConsistency17 5h ago

I think it's more no one who knows him personally wants him to win.

3

u/mrmoneyinthebanks 4h ago

Racists. Racists want him to win.

10

u/kommissar_chaR 6h ago

I was thinking it's either that or Paxton himself is realizing he's a hostage puppet now and trying to get out of it lol.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving fellow

I honestly think Coryn would have handily won against Talarico. Now it’s going to be almost tight and I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a recount and funny business that goes on to give Paxton the win..

oh i 100% agree

Many people - the best people

My son was an absolute nobody, just a dude, and he got blasted on Paxton and Trump Jr's Twitter.

No one is safe

Texas is a diaper, any leaks are still kept inside the state, so none of this matters if voters against the Republican control don’t vote. Go vote. You should have already voted.

Early voting starts on the 19th!

I love that for him

u/This_Elk_1460 6h ago

God I love that he just can't shut the fuck up

u/darth_voidptr 6h ago

I love that if the republicans lose Texas, it will basically be this guy's fault.

22

u/BringBackAoE 6h ago

… which basically means the GOP primary voters’ fault.

When I went to vote in the run-off the GOP line was massive. I didn’t realize they were split lines so initially stood in the GOP line.

Two young guys joined behind me. They let it be known they were voting Paxton. The older people were all “that’s fantastic!” So did I. 😈

7

u/Fandango4Ever 5h ago

If they lose it will be Trump's fault for endorsing Paxton. Cornyn would have been an easier and cheaper campaign.

Abbott isn’t struggling (I know the polls). He’ll literally say anything to deflect from being the worst candidate of the century

13

u/Forsaken-Molasses-87 6h ago edited 6h ago

yeah i don’t think abbott is struggling but it’s fs the closet race he’s had.

3

u/badkapp00 6h ago

Did he ever needed to campaign? It was always a save red Gouverneur seat.

This is a psyop to get dems complacent. Do not fall for it.

in the last senate election, the polls under-estimated cruz' performance by 4 points, if that pattern holds, Talarico will lose, it's way closer than people realize.

11

u/HuMcK 5h ago

Actually it was the opposite. Beto was down by 6% to Cruz in October polling, and the margin ended up being 2.6%. Talarico has lead in the majority of polls since June, but of course that's no guarantee.

1

u/LittleKingsguard 2h ago

That wasn't Cruz's last election, 2024 had Cruz predicted by 4-5 and he won by ~9. Mind you, there's a lot of differences between 2024 and 2018 that make 2018 probably a better comparison point than 2024.

Just vote blue. Never mind this fluff

Crocodile Tears

u/Subject-Rooster-6187 6h ago

Abbot didn’t even want to show face with Daddy Donald in the State…that should tell you everything you need to know.
Thank you for your attention to this matter…Dribble Jizz Trump.

6

u/El_Chingon214 Born and Bred 5h ago

Don’t fall for it. Go vote early!

5

u/Background_Ant293 4h ago

It’s a shame that the elections are this close. I still think somehow Paxton wins..which would be an absolute tragedy.

If Texas fails to elect someone as decent as Talarico then the state deserves all the misery under Paxton.

4

u/techman710 5h ago

Paxton is running on continuing his grifting but at the national level. He is a very dislikeable guy who sees everyone he meets as a possible victim. His lies about Talarico reveal his lack of character and shows he cannot compete against him in honest discourse. He will emberass Texas if he is elected.

8

u/No-Helicopter7299 6h ago

Paxton is the grift that keeps on grifting.

7

u/Previous_Rip1942 4h ago

So much leaked audio. Almost like they want it leaked.

I don’t think any of this is an accident. This is all designed to make the Democrat voter confident, because in the past when the polls look good and the republicans look like a bunch of morons, then democrats have a history of not showing up at the polls. They are counting on it and pulling every trick in the book. It’s not a new strategy but it is effective, or has been.

Ignore this shit. Ignore the polls. Plan to vote early. Just make damn sure and vote.

3

u/mayormccheese2k 4h ago

The deck is stacked already against any non-GOP candidate in Texas, so if we want to even have a chance at keeping this lizard out, we all need to vote. And even then I’m expecting it to be contested and shenanigans pulled. Having said all that, keep overreaching, and keep running absolute garbage candidates GOP. We might not get rid of y’all this year, but eventually you’re going to do something so ridiculous in the name of Jesus trying to stay in power that the wave will be unavoidable.

2

u/mayormccheese2k 4h ago

It’s an insult to the people of this state that Paxton was the best candidate the GOP could offer up. It’s even an insult to the Christian nationalists they’re pandering to.

2

u/L3g3ndary-08 5h ago

Who's leaking these audios? I feel like this shit is being planted

2

u/AfroShiro 6h ago

It's hard for a guy running for a 4th term and don't have not new to sell to the people

1

u/xavier19691 6h ago

Get out and vote them out

1

u/XAMdG 6h ago

If Abbott is struggling, then what is he.

1

u/random_chaos_coming 4h ago

Paywall help?

1

Both of them are on their way out

1

u/iphone11fuckukevin 4h ago

As I listen to the Talarico town hall there’s far too much discussion of religion and Christianity. Separate church and state! Please stop being single policy voters! There’s far more to the world than being anti abortion. Coming from Catholics is really special given how the priests treat kids or have!

u/moobybooby 2h ago

So who’s our guy?
