PED/cycle help What are your thoughts on “TRT+”? Anyone with long-term experience?

What are your thoughts on “TRT+”? Anyone with long-term experience?
I’m 25M and recently ran testosterone at 300 mg/week for around 20 weeks. I know that’s above a replacement dose, but I’ve seen people refer to this approach as “TRT+”, so I’m curious how you view it.
I’ve been extremely happy with the physical results. My bloodwork looked good overall: LDL actually decreased, HDL also decreased but stayed within the reference range, and the other markers checked were within range too. I realize that doesn’t establish long-term safety.
Before starting, my testosterone levels weren’t great, but they weren’t extremely low either. I like the idea of optimizing my levels and improving performance. Interestingly, though, I didn’t notice a huge difference in motivation or drive.
What’s your general take on this approach? Has anyone maintained something similar for years? I’d be interested in your experience with benefits, side effects, changes in health markers over time, and whether you eventually decided to lower your dose or even come off.

TRT help High E2 (325 pmol/L) on 260mg Test/Week but No Symptoms – Should I Take Arimidex?

Hi guys,

I started taking testosterone at 260 mg/week about 4–5 weeks ago.

I had a blood test 3 days ago, and my E2 came back at 388 pmol/L. I repeated the blood test yesterday, and it came back at 325 pmol/L.

The reference range is <150 pmol/L, so my E2 is still more than double the upper limit.

The thing is, I feel completely normal. No gyno symptoms, no mood swings, no bloating, no joint swelling, or any other noticeable side effects.

Would you guys recommend taking a small dose of Arimidex, or should I just leave it alone since I'm feeling fine?

Curious to hear your thoughts, especially if you've had similar E2 levels without any symptoms.

TRT help HCG protocols with TRT

What’s going on everybody. I’m trying to dial in HCG for the third time. I do not feel good on TRT by itself. Currently I’m taking 45mg cypionate and 150ui HCG every Monday/Thursday. Estradiol just came back at 50. I don’t have any side effects other than fatigue in the mornings and evenings. Don’t care about fertility. Taking for neurosteroid support. I used to be on 120mg/500ui and felt amazing but it was short lived and I began having side effects. I just don’t feel much different on my current protocol than I did off TRT. Should I ignore the estradiol of 50 and go with how i feel?

TRT help TRT NATION – will they lower my dose?

Doctor from TRT Nation started me on 200 mg a week but since I tend to have high symptoms, I stay at 126 mg a week. I was wondering if they might see that my T levels are not as high as expected on 200 mg and lower my dose. I don’t want to tell them that I want a lower dose so that I can save the extra.

TRT help Been on TRT for 3 months and got prescribed HCG. The dose seems absurdly high.

Like the title says I’ve been prescribed HCG to help with fertility/atrophy while on TRT. The dr. wants me to take 2ml - 200 units (two full insulin syringes) 3 x a week. This seems insane to me from someone who pins test and tirz multiple times a week. I asked him to make sure he didn’t mean .2ml (20 units on an insulin syringe) 3 x a week, he said no. Anyone else on HCG that can chime in here? Whats an average dose?

Blood work Those who started with a higher BMI

At first was Oestrogen a problem due to more amortisation because of fat? Is that the usual cause of high e2 off injecting testosterone having a higher fat body index?

TRT help Is is UNSAFE to split dose w/ non preserved vials??

Is it UNSAFE to split doses ( multiple injections) with non preserved vials ?
Brand new to TRT. I haven’t even picked up the RX yet but the Pharmacist told me that the vials are not preserved and can only be used once and then they have to be discarded (his words) . I’m prescribed 1 injection weekly. But after reading this forum I was hoping to split my dose. The testosterone is covered by insurance so I’d like to keep that if possible. Is this unsafe to split?

TRT help How to locate ventrogluteal site

Hey guys,
Can someone explain an easy way to find the ventrogluteal site on your own body?
So many contradicting things online, other threads people can’t seem to agree what is ventroglute, diagrams on google ar confusing as fuck, no good YouTube videos, only ones that show how to locate it on someone else’s body.

Anyone know a really simple easy way to find it for certain?

TRT help Looking to go a little beyond

48m, 5'11", 175lbs. Recently lost about 20lbs w/ peptides, 35lb+ in last 12 months. Been a 3-5x gym/wk for last 15years or so. Feel quite good!

Labs in July vs October:

SHBG nmol/L: 49.2 > 57.6
Total Testosterone ng/dL: 750 > 782
Estradiol pg/mL: 26.0 > 42.1
Free Testosterone pg/mL: 120.7 > 116.8

Also managed to drop LDL by 45%

What's the general consensus on these numbers and the track they're on?
Common sense would say no 'need' for TRT, but I'm really interested in pushing a bit into the supraphysiological arena. The recomp has been great with the weight loss, but I'd like to build from here and put on some lean weight/size.

Is this the right sub to discuss this?

Current peptides for context: bpc/tb, ipa/cjc, motsc, igf1-lr3, reta.

Thanks in Advance

TRT help Test Cyp 250MG/ML Injections

How often is everyone injecting testosterone cypionate?

I switched to daily injections about three weeks ago. I’m using 250 mg/mL and injecting 16 units per day on a U-100 insulin syringe—0.16 mL, or 40 mg daily (280 mg per week).

Since switching, I’ve noticed more acne. Has anyone else experienced this after changing injection frequency? Did anything help? Should I take more anti E??

Interested in hearing from anyone who’s dealt with something similar.

Thanks!

TRT help TRT and Fat Loss Plateaus — Has Increasing Your Dose Helped?

I’m kind of new to this, so forgive me if this is a dumb question. I’ve been on TRT for almost a year, and I feel like I’m having trouble getting as lean as I’d like despite dieting and exercising consistently. I’ve started wondering if insulin resistance could be a factor.

Does anyone ever run higher testosterone levels for a period to try to push through fat-loss plateaus and then lower their dose again? Does this actually work, or have you found it doesn’t make much difference?

Any personal experiences or tips would be appreciated. Thank you!

TRT help If I fill the syringe to desired units with luer lock, how do I properly dose without wasting medication in the first needle head?

I’m sorry if this is a common question or if I’m not asking this right. for example, I’m trying 20mg propionate a day using 18 gauge luer lock and then injecting with 27 gauge. I draw the testosterone to the 20 unit mark, and remove the syringe out of the bottle.
I then pull back on the plunger again, so I remove the additional medication in the 18 gauge tip so it doesn’t waste. When I do this, the new reading is about 30 units.
I switch to the 27 gauge and then inject.
What am I missing here?
I feel like the space before the 0 mark and the additional volume in the needle head are contributing about 10 units or 10 extra milligrams to my dose.
How do I properly dose 20mg without wasting medication from twisting off the 18 gauge tip?

PED/cycle help do I need pct after 5wk @400mg?

19m and made the mistake of hopping on 400mg test-c e3d. realized that this wasn’t for me and i dont want to be playing with my hormones at 19 when i dont particularly need to. also experiencing abnormal shedding which i can only attribute to the test and definitely dont want to lose my hair this young.

do i need to hop on a proper pct protocol or can i quit and see recovery in a month or two? in all honesty i am trying my best to avoid pct because of the nasty sides those can give you but im unsure if ill be okay without it

TRT help What could be causing these symptoms?

Pretty underweight (always been) 20M. For the past 4 months, I have been experiencing a constant feeling of unreality. It feels as though I am drunk/high or half-asleep, as if I am on autopilot and everything around me feels somewhat unreal. I have searched online, and my symptoms seem to resemble derealization.

In addition to this, I experience fatigue even when I sleep well. The fatigue does not seem to depend on whether I do physical activities during the day or not. However, over the past few weeks, I have started sleeping poorly and waking up early in the morning.

I also experience headaches, pressure in my head, and neck pain. I have tried muscle relaxants and massage therapy for the neck pain, but neither has helped. Also at the start of this i sometimes felt like fainting when walking but it has gone away. I also have noticed one singular eye floater on my right eye.

What could be causing these symptoms? They do not occur in distinct episodes, and the headache is not particularly severe. It feels more like a tension-type headache.

I have tried Triptyl, but it did not help. My thyroid function is normal, as are my vitamin B12, B9 and vitamin D levels. My ferritin level is 37. And it has been changing from 49 to 24. I also havw crohns disease which is in remission.

My neurologist prescribed escitalopram as a trial, which I took for two and a half months, but it did not help. She also did head mri and there was nothing wrong.

I have no history of trauma, no panic symptoms, and generally do not experience much stress, apart from the stress caused by these symptoms themselves.

My symptoms started in the final days of my new job in car repairshop where i was moving car tires and lifting them. Im not sure if this can be linked to that because i didnt have any symptoms expect the final days. I have not been working at all during this 4 month period.

What could be the underlying cause of these symptoms?

TRT help Best injection spots

Hey guys, I just started my TRT and my very first shot I gave myself was in my outer middle right quad. It started like normal as I have given myself injections before in my life but as I started to inject things went horribly wrong to say the least. Idk if I hit a nerve or what but I put the needle all the way in and started to inject and got about a drop or two out and it started hurting as I injected and out of nowhere my body got extremely hot and I started sweating profusely, it got so bad that I was sitting on the toilet with a wet rag on my head trying to force myself not to pass out. I’m unsure as to what happened but that has never happened to me before and I’m trying to figure out what to do correctly next time. I was told by my doctor the quad isn’t the ideal place to pin because there are a lot of nerves there and she told me I should try my felt instead. I’m going to pin a second time when I get home from work today and would really appreciate suggestions on where to pin and what makes the process easiest and painless. I use a 18g draw needle then swap it for a 25g 1 inch needle to administer
