Who was the best Dual-International player Iran ever had?

For me hands down Ashkan Dejagah (not even close) (he joined team meli at the age of 25 in 2012) but if we had him for the World Cup 2010 cycle we would have easily qualified… think about having Nekounam, M Shojae, Dejagah all in their prime together dam 🔥 what we missed out on…

Dejagah 100% and Ferydoon Zandi 2nd

[u/pm_me_jk_dont]

Definitely Dejagah, or maybe Gucci because of some critical goals he scored

[u/sunnychiba]

Success wise in leagues: Dejagah, followed closely by Gucci. Dejagah scored regularly in EPL, but Gucci was a scoring machine in the Dutch leagues. NT: Gucci clear and clear ; he was the first real forward we had that could score regularly after the dark ages that followed the 06 WC

1. Dejagah (Wish we would have been able to get him earlier in his career)
2. Ghoochannejhad (Mr. clutch, and IMO would have scored that famous Taremi miss against Portugal in 2018)
3. Ghoddos (Always improves the midfield for TM whenever he plays)

Iran's golden era coincided with both Queiroz and Dejagah coming aboard. That 2014 World Cup qualification was the most nervous and tense that I have ever been. When Gucci hit that game-winner in South Korea 2013, the entire tide and fortune for Iran shifted.

And now... lmao, there will be better days.

Teymourian

Hmmm Farydoon Zandi or Beitashour

[u/sunnychiba → u/KhameneiSmells]

Beitashour sucked. Guy couldn’t even beat out PGPL level defenders for a starting spot

[u/Meraj_kits]

Saman ghodos
