I've been working on Elderwyld, an old-school fantasy RPG built entirely around D6 dice pools.

I wanted a traditional, class-based game with D6 but with a quirk.

The system uses 5D6, with 6s representing successes and 1s introducing complications. Combat features class-specific Momentum mechanics, while nine playable Clans offer unique abilities through flexible Clan Tokens.

Rolling multiple 6s gives you access to follow-up actions which is fun at the table since each class can do different stuff.

Clan selection allows players to create a unique ability that follows the theme of the clan (the ability is agreed with the Keeper of course).

Elderwyld is now on Kickstarter pre-launch, and I'd love to hear what fellow designers think of the approach.

PS: I made sure to contact the mods before i posted, but it's been days without response so I hope this does not break any rules.

PS2: There is no AI in my game, all the fantastic art was made by a talented young man called Chui Wizard who specializes in OSR style, black and white art.

I got back from the Las Vegas Open last week and had a blast meeting so many wargamers. I had the opportunity to showcase our QUICK MATS at our Kraken Dice booth and I had a lot of positive reactions and great input to incorporate into the coming Kickstarter.

In a nutshell: Quick Mats are a wrinkle-free fabric game mat that gives you compact storage, and the quickest set up. It's machine washable and will outlast neoprene game mats with heavy usage. Custom printed, 120+ design, 15 sizes available, free custom grids & overlays for any game you want. Your store or team logo can be added or even use your own design.

I'd love to have you give our pre-launch page a look and see what you think.
