Right, the guy responsible for looting the iron beams and half the homes of destroyed houses in syria wants to sue, this is the same guy that most syrians wants to get lynched alive BTW and his rehabilitation by the goverment is making a lot of people furious.

Hamsho is the Uncle of the alKhayyat guys of Qatar; he'll never run out of money or go bankrupt. Even Syria couldn't prosecute him fully because of his connections to those Qatari oligarchs who stepped in to "mediate"

Thankfully, I don't think he'll win the lawsuit, unless Syria does something stupid like accidentally vouch for him or something, which I don't believe they're stupid enough to do.
