Im using only hardware synths no computer at all

hi, i'm currently doing research about synthwave and i was wondering if any of you could help me with some plugins for producing this genre that you use to make songs or that you know about! it would be very helpful. you would be helping me with an university paper ;)

So I have no guitar experience but I'm playing electric guitar patches on my keytar for my synthwave project.

Guitarists, what do you think?

Is the sound okay and do the lines kind of make sense for guitar playing?

I have no idea 😂

Inspiration is IRIS by TR/ST. If you know his work you'll understand how I've listened to *literally* hundreds of songs and still haven't found something that compares.

Emotional dance music, dark, confessional, dynamic, but ultimately hopeful. Weaving luminous synth-pop lines through abrasive industrial pulses to shape sweeping tracks saturated with yearning, desire, and desolation. Wide-ranging electronic pop that consistently foregrounds empathy.

I don't expect vocals, but trying to get emotionally as close to this as possible, with your own spin on it of course.

This is a film drama/romance with psychological elements and subtle themes involving mental health.

Paid, but it is a micro-budget 30 minute complete short that also doubles as a proof of concept for a feature if we get funded (more opportunity!)

If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you, thnx!

Playing some presets from the Synthwave soundbank for Arturias Jup-8V4. Such a smooth sounding synth.

Hi all,I released my first synhtwave track called"Under Neon Lights".Hope you like it

I'm releasing synthwave music and atm have no intention of releasing it on Spotify...

Is this a fools errand?

Ocean Drive is one of those tracks that just sounds like summer at night, so we recreated the whole thing in Serum. We wrote up every synth from the song, step by step, so you can build it yourself. Hope it helps, and happy to answer questions in the comments!

Hello. Looking for music producers in different genres.

If you have any upcoming projects or songs where you require mixing and mastering, please DM me. I will be happy to share my portfolio with you.

Hi everyone, do you happen to know if there’s a "community" where you can get feedback on songs? Ideally, not one of those sites with subscriptions and auto-generated feedback.

I’m looking for one project I can really get behind.
I want to find an artist/song where I hear something in it and think: yeah, I want to be part of this. Not just send back a mix, collect a payment and move on.
So I’m offering a free mix & master to someone who’s working on music they genuinely care about.
If I connect with the song, I’ll put a lot of time and energy into it. I love this stuff, and when a project becomes a personal thing for me, I’m pretty much all in.
Ideally, this could turn into something longer-term — working together on more songs, developing a sound and seeing where we can take it.
If you’ve got a track that means something to you, send it over. I’d love to hear it.

Please follow these guidelines:

1. Share a link to your new release here
2. Mention something relevant about the production, such as what software and VST's you used.

Please follow these guidelines:

1. Share in-progress tracks that you want feedback on. If you have any specific criteria you want to be critiqued, be sure to mention them.
2. The best way to receive feedback is to provide feedback to others.
3. Help your fellow producers improve by being both honest and respectful, we were all newbs once.

Looking forward to hearing what you've got!

Hi Folks, first time posting here, but I think many of you may be interested in this free sample library I developed. Essential Six is a faithful emulation of the quirky, but exceptional Six Trak by Sequential Circuits. This thing was known for incredibly rich sounds (bass in particular) thanks to its stackable six-voice architecture. Essential Six lets you play with custom sounds built on the original instrument with all the convenience of modern digital workflows. It is PERFECT for synthwave, vaporwave, cyberpunk... you get the picture

This linked video provides a walkthrough of the instrument.

You can download the free version on Pianobook: https://www.pianobook.co.uk/packs/essential-six-analog-synth/

Spotted in Dublin, Ireland.
