I’ve just made Michael Romeo’s tone on TONE3000.

I've also been playing sea of lies with this tone.

Romeo and Pinella are also playing on the album, and the producer is the same as the first six Symphony X Albums.

Not the biggest fan of this first single though, sounds very generic imo.

To be more clear, i've been playing guitar for about 3 years, i can play holy wars and master of puppets fully so im not so much of a begginer, but its really hard to find something i can play from this baddass chubby guitar god, i was looking for any song i could play entirely/mostly or any solo thats not almost impossible to play.

All suggestions are wellcome.

Done in a mix of 256×256 for the frame, logo, album name and 128×128 for the character.

For me they're "Was I sure of my fateful wish to evoke the night from the day", and "Bring down the hammer with furious anger"

Figured you guys would appreciate it. Nolan's Odyssey made some big changes to the source material, but I still think it was a phenomenal film. I do wonder what the band thinks of the film though, especially Michael and Russell lmao

Started to work on this; some parts are incredibly difficult and will require rerecording.

It’s always a joy to play this one.

Sorry about the out of frame video, this was the best take, so… if you think the video sucks is probably because you’re right. 🥹

Took about 2 hours and 5 minutes. The first hour+ was exclusively blue painting, but I had a ton of fun seeing it come together and watching the tones shift as I added the pinks and greens. Hope y'all enjoy! (This is free to use and share for whatever; however, please abide the band's and original artists intellectual property)

Edit: Reddit destroyed the quality, apologies.

I have loved this solo since 2006 and I finally dedicated some time to try and learn it.

Anyone else hoping for some more 7-string on the upcoming SX album? :D

Am I the only one who didn't know this existed??

While we wait for a new SX album...this sounds interesting. Hopefully it sounds like old school SX 🤘

Here are three pixel art album covers I made.
Symphon X - V, Jurassic Park Soundtrack and Dream Theater - Train of Thought.

I actually got these CDs recently. Paradise lost I ended up buying a promo cd on accident, but now that I have the vinyl, it's kinda cool. What a fun upgrade

I got Japanese twilight in Olympus cd, just got divine wings original on cd WITH Michael Romeo's signature on a piece of paper I randomly found inside of it(made a reddit post about it, so cool), underworld/iconoclast/the Odyssey all on vinyl..and Michael Romeos war of the worlds pt2 in vinyl. Woo. Damn this band rules

This album is so catchy, sing songy(catchiest choruses)album they've made..if people didn't like this when it came out, I don't fucking understand. It's so sick, especially when ur decades into a band..also only 4 years after previous release.

The, what will be prolly their last album next should be all their stuff combined, and GIANT, and not as much like this(tho I love it and wouldn't change it, albums have their place). but if it's this good, whatever. Just would think for the last album that took over a decade, that it would have the Odyssey, v, paradise lost, and the newest all stuffed in it ha. Anyway I'm only posting this because it rules and needs love and I'm working out and this is in-between pushups. Wew.

Also, the main reason for the post, this is prolly my favorite chorus by SX!
