hypothetically if Sword Art Online Progressive get TV Anime, how do you think they going to treat Aria and Scherzo movies, let throw away the possibility of them skipping it completely,

There a possibility Aria and Scherzo will get Boruto Movie and Dragon Balls Movies(Battle of Gods and Resurrection of F) treatment, where they reanimate everything when they turning it into Anime Episodes for their respective series and adding something that movie didn't have, like all the cut content from the Light Novel for example,I know redoing Aria for the third times is a bit silly, but Dragon Ball also do that with Battle of Gods Movie, like the currently airing Dragon Ball Super Beerus is the third retelling of that same story.

Another possibilities is Demon Slayer Mugen Train and Berserk Golder Age Trilogy movies treatment, where they just edit the existing footage from the Movie and turning it into Anime Episode,in this case they also add new footage into it like the first Episode of Mugen Train Arc being Original and Berserk Golden Age Memorial Edition have the scene from that manga that movie cut get added to it.

Demon Slayer and Berserk treatment probably much cheaper than reanimating everything again,so realistically I could see Aniplex doing that, after all Aniplex also the Producer for Demon Slayer Mugen Train Arc and Berserk Memorial Edition, but if that the treatment they will take,I hope they will polish some the animation from Scherzo movie like what Dragon Ball Super Beerus recently did,Scherzo movie have Production issue and the result is the movie have a lot off model character, so I do hope they able to polish it at least.

I rewatched SAO on a whim and Mothers Rosario arc really hit home. The school scene was especially emotional. Zekken spent years experiencing anything imaginable in VR from fantasy to sci-fi and more unbelievable thrilling adventures. Ultimately though, the final wish was to go to school and read aloud a book like a normal person.

From the perspective of someone who’s trudging through college miserably and struggling every step, this scene really gave me an appreciation of what I have. Ironically I feel like the first time I watched this show it was one of my less enjoyed arcs, but it seems the general consensus is that it is a strong arc.

Bit the bullet n got Aincrad tattoed on me!

New to the community here, lmk if i make any mistakes. So just a short rant i loved the movie but only thing i hate about it is rex. how as some described it, they assassinated hid character. Feels like that part of the plot is just a shitty recycling of kyouji shinkawa's character from GGO. Im also the kind of softie who hates stuff like tragic endings and betrayals. Albeit the ending of this movie felt more bittersweet than anything. Of course as if the betrayal isn't bad enough, its made clear Rex is a pedophile when he drops the cliche "age is just a number" bullshit. At the end of the movie, rex holding half of emi's butterfly wing hairclip, and then we see the morte cameo, really has me wondering a few things. It seems obvious this is foreshadowing that he eventually joins laughing coffin, but also has me wondering if he actually feels regret and reflects on his actions, and has any desire to try and reconcile with Emi despite the coward he is. Im also wondering if its possible or if there is any implication or news that we will see more of rex and emi's story in the future. Ik the movie and the game only got released just this year, but to be completely honest im just looking for some sort of "closure" so to speak; as pathetic as that sounds, because i hate twist villains that have already established a seemingly close bond with main characters.

Cant believe im getting shamed in public 😵‍💫 still fun though

It’s sad that I’m having more fun on a fan made SAO made in Roblox than I ever did on echoes of Aincrad

When Kirito's Fluctlight was damaged, Asuna, Sinon, Leafa and Eugeo transferred the data related to their memories of him.

What interests me is that this data came from people who loved Kirito, trusted him, and saw him as a hero. Since his own Fluctlight was damaged, could the process of restoring him have made him more like the version of himself that existed in other people's minds, rather than simply restoring his original self?

In other words, could the Kirito who woke up after his recovery have become a more heroic, noble, or self-confident version of himself, influenced by how the people closest to him perceived him?

For those who have read the light novel in its entirety, would you say it is possible to cut content without ruining the story?

I'm a sucker for the 'avengers, assemble' trope, so seeing all those characters from 2 seasons gather, plus the main cast getting into their original gear before fighting a ridiculously badass boss while absolutely headbanger music plays... I can watch this movie time and time again just for this scene. In fact, I just did, hence I wanted to gawk about it.

From Sword Art Offline

SAO was my first experience with anime, and I absolutely fell in love with it from the first episode. Today, I got to step way outside of my comfort zone and took my Asuna cosplay out in the wild! I hope you all like it as much as I do!

Edit: I decided to reupload this because I noticed that mods were deleting comments for some reason. I made a few tweaks so hopefully everything is fixed.

So I really wanted to do this for a while, but I was wondering who would win a fight between Alice and Dark Eydis. In regards to the power scaling of SAO it's a bit tricky, especially for all the Integrity Knights, however when Kirito and Eugeo were trying to reach the 100th floor of the Central Cathedral, it's pretty clear that there's a some sort of hierarchy for the knights we meet in the cathedral, so going from weakest to strongest it would be Deusolbert, Fanatio, Alice and Bercouli, meaning that Bercouli, Alice and Fanatio are the top 3.

So in regards to Eydis, if Alice were to duel Eydis in her normal form she would no doubt beat Eydis. However, while we don't see a lot of Dark Eydis in action (during ARS), it's apparent that Eydis gets a significant power boost, with Bercouli even admitting that her power was overwhelming, but of course the downside is that Eydis goes berserk and loses her mind when the darkness of her sword consumes her. You can watch the video of the [Memories of the Abyss] Eydis event here if you're curious.

Now the thing is in that event, while Bercouli says that her power is immense, he's not worried in the slightest, so if Bercouli and Dark Eydis were to fight, the former would win. Now there's a debate whether Alice is stronger than Bercouli or not, so while there's a possibility that Alice is at minimum equal with him, the Bercouli and Gabriel fight makes it clear that he's the strongest Integrity Knight for a reason due to Uragiri being able to "travel to the past" to kill the opponent, so if he used it against Eugeo the fight would've been over.

Now this is just my opinion, so don't take this at face value, but I do think that Dark Eydis could beat Fanatio mainly because when Eydis uses her Memory Release, it makes the entire room pitch black, so Fanatio probably wouldn't be able to land a hit on Eydis even with her Release Recollection.

So with Alice vs Dark Eydis, I think that even with her power boost, Dark Eydis might be on par with Alice, plus if you want to make things interesting, since these two have history (both the games and the LNs), you could consider the fact that Alice would hold back because she wouldn't want to kill Eydis while Dark Eydis is going all out and not pulling any punches.

So let me know what you think, and I really do hope that Dark Eydis shows up in Unital Ring and maybe we get a fight between her and Alice.

I met Bryce in August at Birmingham Comic Con, I waited for 5 hours in the queue but it was worth it. I was super nervous and forgot everything I wanted to say, so kicked myself after (and still am) but hopefully he didn’t think I was a complete idiot 🥲

He also took a video of my Kirito tattoo for his social media! (I’ve added a pic here of when I’d just had it done earlier in the year so it’s super swollen!)

I loved everyone that took the time to stop and say hello or how much they liked my cosplay!

Im am noticing only now that i am rewatching. Wtf

Hi, I remeber watching SAO, back when I was a kid, and now I rewatched it. (Absolutely loved it again)

BUT I remember watching a season where its in the world of GGO and Kirito getting a long haired maybe even girl avatar, but when I try to find it I only find the game.

Where can I watch it, and how to find it?

i only put spoiler in the title to disclose that i'm okay to be spoiled abt it.

Do you think Eugeo's fluctlight can be brought back or he can be revived in the future? do u think Reki will ever bring him back? when reading the unital ring light novel i found myself like kirito missing eugeo like nobody’s business.

And in volume 27 there was a moment when kikuoka asked kiriro abt using alice fluctlight to bring out a cat AI or smth i don't remembere it's been a while. im just saying words
