Getting a bit silly now.

The sport that needs to grow in its home country and the BBC can’t even be bothered to bid for the rights, putting it on a broadcaster that no one has, making RL seem even more niche and less likely to grow via a World Cup

Disgraceful

France have been battered and punished for building their own by a team of Kiwis and Aussie because it benefits the NRL.

This is why I don't like the NRL because they aren't interested unless it benefits them at European RL's expense.i just wish SuperLeague and RL in Europe has realised after pandemic that NRL are not our friends and had doubled down in flooding our game with as many French and Welsh players as possible to build our own internationals, free of them. Sod the NRL.

Just discovered the RLWC is only televised on Premier Sports jn the UK. Anyone aware of it or how to get it? Can’t believe it’s not on BBC, ITV, four or five.

International Rugby League is pleased to confirm the global availability of IRL Rugby League World Cup 2026, which fans will be able to watch through linear, satellite television and streaming services.

Mark Chapman, Paul Rowley (before the Cas appointment was announced), and Jon Wilkin in a live discussion of the tournament and particularly England's chances. There were link-ups with Andrew Henderson on the Australian men, the ABC's Pacific sports correspondent on Samoa and Tonga, and Faye Gaskin on the women's tournament.

They also noted that every game will be on 5 Live Sports Extra, which I haven't heard mentioned at all. I guess they will be taking the ABC coverage??
