I’m experiencing since latest update iOS I think that numbers 6 to 9 are not visible on my keyboard screen,
so I’m not able to play the daily sudoku on here. Anyone else with the same problem and most interesting how can I solve this?

I have played in the fiendish level for many months now, and I am trying to move up level, so I'm using the practice tool in Sudoku coach to learn new techniques.

I am struggling to understand WXYZ-wing. why is it that, with the cells with the annotation 1 and 8 (orange circled), why should I look to the one on the bottom square, versus the one on the right square.

initially I thought it was the one on the right, and that I could eliminate the 8 in the first square (pink circled), but when I clicked "show solution" it indicated that I should have looked to the cell 1,8 on the bottom square, and then eliminated the 1s.

I'm sorry I don't know the names of cells and stuff

Could anyone explain to me why what I thought is wrong and why the solution it gave me is right?

I really wanna get better at sudoku, I can do a medium difficulty one in about 8 minutes, but I feel like I'm missing a lot of strategy/knowledge, for example spotting naked singles is still a big challenge and everything above that like naked pairs, x wings etc. seems impossible.

Do you have any tips on how to improve?

People on here seem so good at what they do, I would love to learn from you.

I dont see what an xy wing is from this solver.
And cant come to the conclusion myself.
How do i even spot this? And is anything easier available in this puzzle?

Olá, bom dia, recentemente eu estou aprendendo a técnica de X-wing e até agora eu entendi muito bem, se houver apenas dois candidatos em duas linhas, em que esses dois candidatos nas linhas ficam exatamente nas mesmas duas colunas, nós temos um X-wing (ou então ao contrário), mas o que eu queria saber (e que não vi nenhum exemplo no google) é se pode ter um x-wing em apenas duas caixas. O mais comum quando voce pesquisa no google é o x-wing formado aparecendo 4 caixas, 2 caixas eu nunca encontrei. Eu acredito que pode existir, pois nao quebraria nenhuma lógica do X-wing... agradeço qualquer ajuda

Can you guys please explain why it should only be 8 on the highlighted cell? Why can't it be put on the cell above it? I'm stuck on this puzzle for almost 2 hours.

Don't just solve it for me, please give me some advice on how to find new numbers to write down. I've been staring at this for so long and can't find anything. My notes are probably no big help, i seem to have forgotten to write some down. theyre probably innacurate

Im good with the 45 rule, and kinda just logical inferencing but I can't find anything that'll help me build upon and find cells... Ive looked for a while now can't find anything. Unlike normal sudoku's theres so many rules and way's to solve problems, and maybe I havn't looked into enough techniques but I just can't find anything.

I’m fairly new at sudoku, so I don’t know all the different techniques yet. But as far as I can see, there’s no obvious solution to this cell because all the numbers are possible both vertically and horizontally in other cells.

So, what am I missing? (I checked, and the answer is 1, but I wanna know how I could arrive at that answer by myself)

I just found something that is like a W-wing, but with 3 pairs instead of 2.
If r5c4 is 1, then all 7s in row 7 would be eliminated.
Is there a specific name for this strategy?

As shown in the example in the attached picture,

In the image on the left, some Bi-value Cells are connected in a skipping pattern.

In the image on the right shows that Bi-value Cells are connected via strong connections, whereas the connections between units are weak.

Is there a way to solve it? It’s from magazine and it says it’s medium level 😭😭😭

Trying to learn what an X wing is. Is this an X wing?

I've been told this is solvable, and that it has a single solution. I'm very stuck since yesterday.
