During Trumps first term republicans had been blocking an extension of aid we were giving first responders that were harmed by 9/11 (you know, heroes).
John Stewart had a viral moment when he stuck up for the first responders and chewed out congress (the few who showed up to do their own job) and after that pressure Trump signed a deal giving them those benefits for the rest of their lives.
This is the only policy decision I can think of off the top of my head that will have a lasting positive impact.
Sometimes he goes to yell at them about covering healthcare for soldiers from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq who were exposed to the toxic burn pits.
