Only two people outside of this community knows. But today I hit 30 days alcohol free.
Thank you to this community for a place to turn to.
And happily,

Congratulations! Keep going! I am on day 6. What helped you most in early sobriety?

Honestly a lot of it was distract and delay. I distact myself when I get a craving and delay actually going to the liquor store. Eventually either the craving goes away, or I've waited until I was too tired to drive anywhere. I know this doesn't work for everyone, but distracting and delaying in 10 minute incriminates works well for me. I also downloaded the Sunflower app and now that my flowers are growing I don't want to clear out that meadow lol.
Just stick with it and find what works for you.

30 days is HUGE!! And even if only two people in your life know about it, that doesn't make it any less special. You know how much it took to get here, and that's what matters. I hope you're feeling really proud of yourself today. Here's to many more sober mornings and a life you don't need to escape fromβ€οΈ

Not every victory needs an audience. 30 days is something to be proud of, whether two people know or two hundred. Hope you treat yourself to something nice today! π
