The fact that people were discussing this years before Steins;Gate even existed is actually insane lmao. Has anyone here read the original posts?

Is there anywhere I can view Stiens Gate; Load Region of Déjà Vu without pirating it? I’m trying to watch it again and last time I was able to find pretty much the whole movie separated into clips on YouTube but I can’t find it now. I’m in the US and every platform either doesn’t have it or they have it listed but it isn’t available.

So after an episode his ideas didnt changed a lot but

He prefer okarin as a protagonist to senku we watched dr. Stone togheter and said

"At least he is a real scientist and not a smartass"

But yeah not much

I love these nerds so much, and obviously I have a favorite. Though I originally got into Steins;Gate because of Okabe, believe it or not! He reminded me a lot of my chuuni self and when I heard he would be tortured for it, I was onboard instantly lmao. The horrors hitting a silly friend group was very appealing to me, and right now I’m on the third watch of the anime with a friend who hasn’t seen it.

Oh, man! What an episode!

A couple of days ago, I posted somewhat of an appreciation post for episode 8 of Steins;Gate 0. I loved it so much that I thought it surely deserves a post to express how much it moved me. I thought there wouldn't be any episode in the series that could be better than that one. Thanks for proving me wrong, HOUOUIN KYOUMA!

The first ten minutes of the episode were really dense and well-executed. No opening, no time-pass, nothing. It was probably the most concentrated Okabe had ever been in his plans. The Amadeus scene, the Rukako meeting, young Suzuha's appearance, going back through time, the episode was going on perfectly well. That was until... Okarin asked Daru to slap him. That was the moment after which everything changed. That was the return of the most loved, cherished, Kyouma!

My eyes were glued to the screen; every single line after that made me so utterly nostalgic, words cannot explain. I'm sure many of you felt the same. Whether it's the narcissistic lines filled with pride and wit or the iconic hand movements, everything was perfect. I'd just chuckle when these happened in the original show, finding Okabe immature or humorous. But, here, after 20 episodes, meeting the mad scientist so spectacularly was not expected by me. The best episode and the highest artistic peak of the show, hands down!

While episode 8 made me tear up due to the emotion and beauty, the sheer brilliance of this episode lay in the writing of the anime. It was hype, it was iconic, but most of all, it was well-executed. This episode made me constantly shiver and have goosebumps every two minutes. Phenomenal writing.

well it was kind of bittersweet its actually nice to have faris but i feel like something is missing😭

I gotta say i never really liked Kagari she’s literally just a fake Kurisu maybe if they went a different route and you actually find out she’s a clone or somehow Kurisu’s kid would
Make it more interesting to me besides that her story doesn’t really add anything to the story in my opinion it’s just filler

I felt so comfortable cosplaying Kurisu, I think we share the same aura and a bit of the same personality hehe I want to cosplay her more and more :3

So my dad never watched steins gate so I made him.

We watch the first 2 episode and he said

Intriguing, especially that kurisu.

And for now we have

"Stupid protagonist"(okarin) that he calls "cuocarina"

"The one you did the cosplay" (daru)

"Brain fried one" (mayushi)

"F-word" (rukako)

""Irritating Cat" (faris)

"Zombie" (kurisu)

"Cute one " (moeka)

And the others he didnt realy bothered

For now he only likes kurisu but said that okarin has great MC potential.

I am playing S;G LBP and just finished Chapter 1 of LBP Jekyll on the Scan Lines. I liked it a lot.

I understand that this game is collection of short stories and hence the post.

In the scene where okabe goes to radiokan to deal with scalper he notes that there is no more "satellite" that was seen in the last year. Now where did this "satellite" go?

Interesting part is it seems this is a continuation of timeline i.e., 0.33xxxxx % (aka what if) which is the first tragedy hitting timeline in original S;G VN, but okabe never consults kurisu and suzuha never spies on their convo and never reveals herself as time traveller. Hence never gets found out even after an year. So where did the time machine go?

Also how does kurisu finds about the supposed "barrier" of attractor field which she tells to okabe at mayuris grave. Does she finds about (through research) that stuff over the period of an year at SERN, continuing their stalled research and advancing them bit by bit?

It seems the actual mayuri death reason is "killed by rounders". Still okabe receives the mails from moeka and moeka mails saying looking forward for the meet up :) lol how does she even think its possible haha.

So if mayuri is killed by rounders (referenced in kurisu conversation at mayuri grave), i assume rounders had instructions to capture all 3 okabe, kurisu and daru just like in S;G VN. But here, kurisu is willingly pulled into SERN through her father and daru, okabe never seemed to coerced/captured from the conversations in chapter 1. So how does that work?

Also this chapter feels like chaos;head at the final mayuri message.

I wonder how this timeline converges to 2036 for suzuha and 2010 for okabe who leapt back. Any theories? (If this is continued in other chapters pls dont spoil)

My friends been trying to get me to watch it for ages but from what i can tell theres a lot of it (2 different anime adaptations an ova and a remake) so idk if its worth watching all of it

Also ive got a bunch of younger siblings so im wondering if theres any fanservice or anything

Venturing through the very messed up chapter 9 :p

Last night, I finished watching Steins;Gate 0 Ep 8, and this might be one of the greatest anime episodes I have ever witnessed. I want to provide my raw, honest review of the episode, so I'll just copy-paste the message I sent to my friends after finishing the episode. Apologies if I got too carried away, I was as frank as possible. But, nothing's an exagerration, what an episode!

I can't see how any future episode can possibly be better than this. This is the pedestal for me. I'm crying. This is not just the best episode of Steins;Gate 0 but possibly the best so far from both these series.

Not just that I loved the emotion and intimacy, but it somehow feels too close to home. Feels like the whole last 8 episodes were a buildup for this one scene. What it did is far stronger than what any episode from both series did for me. The visual dynamic between Okabe and Makise is strongest ever here, but there is also so much underlying depth. The callbacks to episode 1 and 2, when they first met. The pervert jokes. 'I'm so glad I met you'. This level of artistry is very rare in anything.

Calling this anime a sci-fi feels so reductive. This episode was purely a break from the main timelines of this show, but the writers knew how to pull off the best part of what made the first anime so good. This particular episode is better than even any episode from the first anime. Minimal sci-fi scenes, low high stake intensity, no deaths. I ended up with just a smiley face and teary eyes. As prefect as it gets.

Some sentiments might sound hyperbolic, some might have recency bias, and a few might be contextually inaccurate. Hope y'all will understand this. Thanks for reading the post :]
